Al Qaeda’s Connection to Oklahoma City

    2004 - 07.31

As the War on Terror’s gun sights shift rapidly towards Iran and the who-knew-what-about-whichever intelligence debate continues, few seem to notice evidence surfacing about Iran’s complicity with Islamic terrorism would have been great in supporting the Bush administration’s claims about Iraq’s involvement with terrorism. So why wasn’t it used? Because it would have opened too many closets with skeletons in Washington going all the way back through the Clinton administration. This one implicates both administrations.

Oklahoma City’s award-winning television reporter Jayna Davis (www.jaynadavis.com), author of “The Third Terrorist:  The Middle Eastern Connection to the Oklahoma City Bombing,” joins us for this important show.

John’s boralogue reveals some interesting quotes from Bush
administration insiders showing they intended to attack Iraq long before 9/11, which provided the “Pearl Harbor event” (their words) as a pretext to do so.

    Unending Wars for Unknown Objectives

    2004 - 07.24

The first part of today’s program features another vignette on the history of the modern Middle East with a look at the record of relations between Israel and Europe.  Howard Sachar, professor emeritus from George Washington University, and author of “Israel and Europe,” guests.

The War on Drugs has numerous lessons to teach about the problems of ongoing, blurry wars, which have confusing objectives and never achieve their goals.  The drug war has left a trail of constitutional wreckage in its wake with thousands filling jails for possession and no noticeable curtailment of the flow of drugs. Joel Miller, author of “Bad Trip:  How the War against Drugs is Destroying America,” guests.

Finally we re-run clips from an August, 1998 show with law
professor Dr. Floy Lilly at the conference on the International Criminal Court in Rome.  Despite all the congressional promises of the last five years, the U.S. has caved on its promise to protect our troops overseas from the machinations of this politicized court.  Johnny may not come marching home because he’s in The Hague on trial for obeying orders.

    Emerging Cracks within Islam

    2004 - 07.17

The government of Saudi Arabia may be teetering on collapse as Al-Qaeda plans its downfall with a number of Saudi princes joining in. This has implications for the world’s oil supply.  Simultaneously Islamic radio in the Middle East crackles with hostility toward Israel, the U.S. and…each other as Sunnis and Shiites prepare to take each other on.  Avi Lipkin ( href=”http://www.vicmord.com” target=”_blank”>www.vicmord.com) returns for another appearance in studio.

John’s boralogue examines the emerging oil crisis and asks
international analyst Dr. Marc Faber of the “Boom, Doom and Gloom Report” in Switzerland whether he thinks the world is moving towards a war footing.  Segment Five has John reporting on the persecution of evangelicals in Mexico with a history of that conflict.  He also examines again the debate about Red Mercury and its potential role in a devastating nuclear terrorist device. We’ve dug up some articles in intelligence journals written almost a decade ago on the subject.

    Mentally Ill and Loving It

    2004 - 07.10

President Bush wants to provide mental health screening for all Americans.  Ah, but wait until you discover that the definitions of mental illness include people who have fixed religious beliefs. Moreover, the program has been long under way before President Bush took office and if the elitists get their way, this program will be mandatory just as child vaccinations are now.  SOS regular Dr. Dennis Cuddy, PhD, joins the conversation.

When you go to the supermarket and swipe a customer loyalty card to get that neato discount, do you ever wonder where information about your purchasing habits goes?  The government is buying up the information to data mine for tax cheats and other law breakers and the Fourth Amendment need not apply.  Katherine Albrecht (www.nocards.org) guests in the last part of the program.

John’s boralogue shows how the dialectic of the Bush administration torture scandal played nicely into the agenda of the International Criminal Court.  We also examine the potential the impending global economic crisis has for military violence.

    The UN’s Food-for-Oil Scandal

    2004 - 07.03

We’re shocked to discover that the UN skimmed money destined to provide food and medicine for poor Iraqi children, aren’t you? Somehow the money wound up in the pockets of the UN, Saddam Hussein and certain European countries.  Maybe that’s why they all weren’t so thrilled about the Iraq war. But, sigh, this is just one of numerous corruption issues plaguing the organization held by many to be the flag-bearer for “global governance.”  Will Grigg, author of “America’s Engineered Decline” (www.stoptheftaa.org) joins us.

Later on we discuss with Will the economic war on America’s middle class.

Finally, at the tail of the program, John analyses why it’s hard to take a “position” on the War on Iraq, like so many talk shows do, because, aside from supporting our troops, our purpose is to observe this multi-layered situation and report on the issues that are involved and how they interact.

John’s boralogue adds more fuel to the bubbling Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac scandal and ties together all the financial bubbles that are threatening America  today. Duck!
