    The Emerging Insurance Scandal

    2005 - 08.27

Busy show today….that’s what makes radio fun.

Attorney Chris Klicka joins us from Home School Legal Defense
(www.hslda.org) for a brief overview of the direction home school is following and the challenges that face it from the educratic establishment.

When you take out an insurance policy, do you have peace of mind, like the companies promote? Think again. Insurance companies are deliberately denying claims they know to be valid to save themselves a lot of money, leaving the policy-holders out in the cold. They even write clauses into their policies making it impossible to sue them for fraud. Attorney Ray Bourhis, author of “Insult to Injury,” (www.insulttoinjury.org) guests with a report on an emerging insurance industry scandal.

Finally, we do a perspective piece with a former member of the Hitler Youth, Hilmar von Campe (www.voncampe.com), who sees troubling parallels between today’s trends and what happened to him as a teen.

John’s boralogue rebuts a listener’s email accusing the Israelis of imposing Apartheid and having wrecked the Palestinian economy.

    Why Can’t They Communicate?

    2005 - 08.20

John’s boralogue lays bare the three-legged crises simultaneously confronting the world in the next decade: energy/water scarcity, the perfect financial storm and the morphing of the War on Terror into a larger conflict, all overlaid with a patina of transforming sovereignty into global governance.

Then we’ll hear clips from an off-air interview with Matthew Simmons, author of "Twilight in the Desert," saying that Arab oil field output is on the decline, which will destabilize the Islamic geopolitical position and cause competition for limited energy resources to increase.

Then we speak with Pat Murphy, (www.howthewestwaslost.info) author of "How the West Was Lost," examining how far the philosophical gulf between the "New Civ" and Western Civilization has gone, including reasons why both groups are totally unable to communicate with each other.

    Something Big is Brewing

    2005 - 08.13

As promised, we’re taking time off, making today’s program a "perspective piece" on the Middle East. To many of us who do advance news work, the world "out there" has the same "feel" it did just prior to 9/11. We can’t avoid the premonition that big things are brewing, which will ratchet the war on Terror into the next stage of World War III.

You’ve heard Avi Lipkin on the program before. Today we interview Rachael Lipkin, who grew up in Cairo, Egypt, and who now monitors Arabic-language chatter on cable, satellite and broadcast to see what’s going on in the Middle East from the Arab viewpoint.

Frequently it’s the opposite of what the Arab world is saying to the West in English, as was the case during the entire peace process of the 90s. Rachael says the west is disconnected from reality and whatever breaks loose is going to surprise everyone.

John’s boralogue ties up loose ends and reports on interesting news stories that have emerged over the last few weeks.

So That’s Why We Don’t Guard Borders!

    2005 - 08.06

Phyllis Schlafley (www. eagleforum.org) is our first guest today.
She is calling attention to a Council on Foreign Relations report about an agreement between President Bush, President Fox and Prime Minister Martin at Waco Texas, to unify Canada, the U.S. and Mexico. "Why isn’t anyone else reporting on this?" she asks, and perhaps this is the reason we’re not stemming the flow of illegals across the U.S./Mexico border.

Then we look at the negative fallout from the Supreme Court’s recent eminent domain decision. Paul Chesser (www.johnlocke.org) from the John Locke Foundation joins us.

The attitudes of europeans towards the War on Terror is starting to shift as the impact of Islamic terrorism strikes home. We talk to Dutch attorney Hans van Zundert, who handles the cases of both Muslims and Christians escaping from Iran and seeking asylum in his country.

John’s boralogue deals with a series of miscellaneous subjects.
