    The Bank for International Settlements

    2005 - 10.29

Time for a connect-the-dots perspective showpiece.

This week President Bush appointed Dr. Ben Bernanke, Ph.D., as the Federal Reserve System’s new chairman to replace Alan Greenspan.
More quietly there were ongoing talks in Sonoma, California, following the 24-month track to establish a plan to unify Mexico, the United States and Canada. This includes abolishing the current border arrangements, vis a vis Europe. Meanwhile, running in the background is a little-understood organization called, the Bank for International Settlements, which is pushing for a new North American currency, called the “Amero” following the collapse or
abolition of the dollar. It all ties together. Pat Wood
(www.augustreview.com) joins us for the entire program, which will cover a wide range of interconnecting issues.

John’s boralogue concatenates a string of conceptual ideas that have been driving the modern mindset.

    Fiddling While the Country Burns

    2005 - 10.22

Who determines the moral upbringing of your children? The David Parker criminal trespass trial began this week in Massachusetts. Mr. Parker was arrested at a meeting with school officials when he protested the indoctrination of his kindergarten-age son with pro- homosexual lifestyle materials without his consent. Brian Camenker from the Action 8 Alliance (www.massresistance.com) joins us to discuss the case, which is bound to have far-reaching implications.

Did you really hope for tax reform from the President’s commission on same? It’s only tinkering around the edges with no substantive changes. Why? They put the same people in charge that got us into this tax mess in the first place. Attorney George Pieler with the Institute for Policy Innovation (www.ipi.org) joins us to project where so-called tax “reform” is headed.

The U.S. is facing an economic crisis of breathtaking proportions with a collapsing oil supply, rising interest rates, rising inflation, and rising taxes. John’s boralogue summarizes the crisis.

Selling the Farm, Treaty by Treaty

    2005 - 10.15

John McManus, former president of the John Birch Society
(www.jbs.org) is today’s guest in an open conversation how international agreements are giving away U.S. Sovereignty piece by piece. The real problem isn’t the UN; it’s Washington.

John does an extended boralogue analyzing the converging crises on our doorstep, separating hype and myth from reality, especially with a backgrounder on how we got to where we are in the ballooning oil crisis. Jim Puplava (www.financialsense.com) joins us for a segment.

Will the Real Islam Please Stand Up?

    2005 - 10.08

Today’s program focuses largely on the Middle East.

First, former CBS News correspondent David Dolan (www.ddolan.com) is in studio for a report on Israeli attitudes following the Gaza withdrawal as well as the conflicts between the terrorist group Hamas and the Palestinian Authority.

Then Professor David Cashin, expert in Islamic intercultural studies from Columbia Biblical Seminary in South Carolina
(www.ciuonline.com) provides a fascinating insight into the world of Islam, that sheds light on the radical differences between Islamic and western culture, especially how filtering Islam through politically correct ideological filters simply will not work.

John’s boralogue reviews a few important news stories that have transpired recently.

    Rehearse for the Worst

    2005 - 10.01

    Busy show today.

After hurricane Katrina, authorities ran around confiscating the guns of homeowners who had managed to fight off marauders in their neighborhoods, leaving the homeowners defenseless. Larry Pratt from Gun Owners of America (www.gunowners.org) joins us to detail this story ignored by most media.

Then are the skies any safer? “No” says Annie Jacobson (www.womenswallstreet.com), author of “Terror in the Skies: Why
9/11 Could Happen Again.” Morevoer, there’s a substantial bureaucratic coverup to conceal that fact, stashing a lot of the evidence under national security secrecy.

Finally, a bit of the show to help you: thousands suffer every year from light deprivation during the winter, resulting in a panoply of disorders and inability to work well. Dr. Laurence Martell, MD, (www.bluemaxlighting.com) has created full-spectrum lighting usable anywhere, which alleviates these symptoms. As the price of natural gas soars towards a record (crisis) high this winter, John’s boralogue examines whether Socialist Party “D”
or Socialist Party “R” will be able to handle the crises that will be rolling over our horizon like ocean waves.
