    The Fairness Doctrine

    2007 - 01.27

We seem to have dodged the "lethal" free speech bullet in Senate Bill One last week. Offending provisions have been stripped from both Senate and House versions of the bill. However, rumblings of the Fairness Doctrine are afloat, so it’s time we take a look at what that could mean to free speech on radio and the Internet.

Radio & TV broadcast veteran Tom Read from the American Christian Network in the Pacific Northwest joins us for a look at the previous effects of the Fairness Doctrine on talk radio.

With historical revision in full play in schools for over three decades, it’s hard for younger Americans to know what the country was like just 50 years ago and how free it truly was. Michael Solomon, author of "Where Did My America Go?"
(www.wheredidmyamericago.com) describes life growing up as a Jewish kid in an Italian neighborhood in the Bronx and how far America has strayed today.

John’s boralogue examines significant news fragments, including President Bush’s State of the Union address and Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke’s testimony before the Senate last week.

    The Assault on Free Speech

    2007 - 01.20

Congress is getting tired of alternative media telling you all sorts of things they wish you didn’t know about them. So, the Constitution be darned, they’re going to try to shut it down.

The show kicks off with an extended boralogue about Section 220 of Senate Bill 1, which classifies radio shows such as ours a lobbying group and requires massive amounts of paperwork every time we report on a political issue, fining us $50-100,000 if we don’t do it. We also cover several other congressional assaults on free speech, which are in the wings.

Then we examine the growing trend to mandate healthcare insurance and how this is leading us directly to nationalized healthcare by a back door route. James Landsbury from Samaritan Ministries
    (www.samaritanministries.org) joins us.

Although you’d never know it from public pronouncements, evolution as a theory touted as fact, is beginning to crack as more and more scientists realize that random chance cannot explain the complex development of living molecules and DNA coding. But, not to be daunted, they’re holding the finger in the dike until they can find a new non-deistic explanation it all caves in. Thomas Woodward, author of "Darwin Strikes Back," joins us.

We already told you what the boralogue was about so get on with listening to the show. Good weekend.

    Is It War, Harriet?

    2007 - 01.13

Many things bubbling around the world and the majority of the "bubbleage" stems from the Middle East.

Hamas and Hizbullah are rearming while Gaza is now a hotbed of terrorist activity, all in preparation for the next encounter with Israel. Moreover, last weekend a British newspaper reported that Israel plans using tactical nukes for bombing Iranian nuclear facilities. Caroline Glick from the Jerusalem Post (www.jpost.com) joins us to discuss all of these issues.

There seems to be a change on the CFR "script" for the Middle East and the Bush administration apparently has more than one action iron in the fire. Moreover, is apparently much changeover in military operations in the Mideast while rumors emerge of an intended strike on Iran. Jerome Corsi (www.worldnetdaily.com) joins the show to detail all the activity.

John’s boralogue examines the 661-day window the Bush administration has to put in motion geopolitical and economic events that no future congress or president will be able to easily reverse simply because they disagree with it.

    Back to The Future

    2007 - 01.06

    Happy New Year again.

Today’s program is somewhat unique, projecting major geopolitical, economic and worldview trends emerging in 2007 by using multiple audio clips from various sources recorded in 2006 and extrapolating those trend lines forward.

It’s like one giant boralogue but it really isn’t. We promise you’ll find it interesting. You must admit, we always keep you guessing.
