    The Founding of Religious Freedom

    2007 - 06.30

Happy Canada Day to Canadian listeners.  Happy Fourth of July to Americans later this week.

Our daughter is being wed today so we’re taking the day off, since John and Carol are father and mother of the bride respectively.
But, never fear, you’re not on your own as we pre-recorded a program.

You’ve heard us rant and rave how history has been rewritten by academics to match their politically correct, secularist ideals.
Moreover government agencies in charge of our nation’s monuments are now deliberately expunging the role of religion in the nation’s founding.

Secularists would like you to believe America was the product of the French Enlightenment, but in 1812 Alexis de Toqueville visited the U.S. to find out why the American revolution was so different its French counterpart.  He found that America’s religious beliefs were at the core.  The French revolution rested on anti-religious atheism, but the American revolution was profoundly religious.

Pastor Jim Alter from Grace Baptist Church in Sidney, Ohio,
(www.gracebaptistsidney.com) speaks on this subject.  He joins us to narrate the history of Christianity and Judaism in the original colonies and the role they faith played in establishing religious freedom in America.

    Disturbing Trends in Law Enforcement

    2007 - 06.23

We’re taking the weekend off so the program today is pre-recorded but not of any less quality, we hope.

As government expansion and inflation put pressure on state and local governments, sourcing income is becoming a preoccupation and using law enforcement to get convictions at any cost is the method of choice to fuel "the system."  This and other issues are discussed in a candid conversation with journalist, William Grigg.

So what does the phrase, "family values" actually mean?  Dr. Alan Carlson, Ph.D. is author of "The Natural Family: A Manifesto," who says it’s just a meaningless political catch phrase now.  The assault began 40 years ago in the 1960s and government intrusion into the family at all levels has been a major factor contributing to the demise of the "natural family."

    No boralogue today.

    She Was Right

    2007 - 06.16

It’s potpourri day on the program today.

Several years ago, women’s journalist Annie Jacobson wrote a book describing a flight where a group of Middle Eastern men acted as if they intended to hijack a plane she was on. Homeland Security virulently ridiculed her claims but now formerly classified documents show she was right; it was a dry run for an attack.

We also devote two segments to an update on the Middle East, particularly what is happening in Gaza and the West Bank. The western media are playing down the vicious inter-Arab violence and war crimes being committed, because is has become an embarrassment when they’ve media who have maintained the line that Israel is the cause of the Palestinians’ problems.

John also shows how President Bush’s true colors are emerging in his last 500 days in office since he doesn’t have to obtain reelection and the Republicans are distancing themselves from him.

Finally, a conversation with Mark Proffitt (www.markproffitt.com), who was fired under his company’s zero tolerance policy because he allegedly made a threat. It was a cascade of politically correct errors, which reveal how consensus and group think is ruining American business.

John’s boralogue examines the latest court determination that the president does not have authority to strip US citizens of their constitutional rights simply by declaring them enemy combatants.

Vietnam POWs – Still Alive, Still Captive

    2007 - 06.09

It’s June and we’re entering the summer season of perspective interviews rather than news chasing.

Amid years of suspicion that US POWs were left behind in Vietnam, "An Enormous Crime, the Definitive Account of American POWs Abandoned in Southeast Asia," has been published, revealing numerous government documents supporting this contention as well hard evidence that many may still be alive in captivity today.
Co-author and former Congressman Bill Hendon (R-NC)
    (www.enormouscrime.com) joins us.

What exactly is going on inside the Republican Party?  Dr. Charles Dunn, Ph.D., authored, "The Future of American Conservatism," about which he joins us during the second hour.  Dr. Dunn is dean of the Robertson School of Government at Regent University.

John’s boralogue examines some hidden assumptions in items discussed during presidential debates this week, including the falling definition of rich people, which is crashing right down into the middle class, who are expected to bear the burden the newly proposed social programs.  If you think healthcare costs you now, wait until it’s "free."

    Continuity of Government

    2007 - 06.02

521 days until the next US presidential election; a long blather-filled way to go, gang.

President Bush has issued two continuity-of-government presidential directives, NSPD-51 and HSPD-20, which are unconstitutional but no one seems to be flinching.  Dr. Jerome Corsi, Ph.D.,
    (www.worldnetdaily.com)
joins us.  We’ll spend the majority of the program on this and related issues.

John’s boralogue points out how listeners can spot FPC (for public
consumption) statements by politicians, which in reality don’t mean anything because they’re only posturing toward the center during election campaigns.  Politicians rarely tell you what they’re really thinking nowadays so don’t be fooled by the rhetoric.
