    Modeling the Modern Middle East

    2007 - 10.27

The U.S. waved its light saber at Iran again this week, amid will- they or won’t-they speculation about attacking that country, Russian President Putin’s admonitions notwithstanding.

The world didn’t arrive at today’s Middle East in a vacuum.  It’s largely a product of century-old streams of globalist political thought, coupled with interventions by western counties such as France, Great Britain and the United States, topped off with Shiite Islamic expectations for the re-emergence of the Twelfth Imam.  Dr. Dennis Cuddy, Ph.D, author of  "The Globalists,"
is our sole guest for today’s perspective-oriented program.

John’s boralogue examines why it’s so difficult to get the latest round of peace talks off the ground;  same problems, different conference, no peace, just talk.  And we’re surprised why?

    All Sorts of Things

    2007 - 10.20

Most of our shows have pieces, which come together.  Today’s program has lots of significant pieces, which never come together.
So we’ll just go to pieces.

Always pay attention to what politicians do, not what they say.
This really applies to immigration policy.  Ames Holbrook is a former U.S. deportation officer and author of "The Deporter,"
detailing how the government thwarts its own agents who seek to deport illegal aliens with criminal records.

The rest of the program consists of audio clips from people as diverse as Ron Paul, Alan Greenspan, Barack Obama and others who said important things this week.  That includes the boralogue.

    Like we said.  Strange show.

Bless Me Father, You have Sinned

    2007 - 10.13

This month marks the commencement of our 18th year on the air.
Seems we made it on a wing and a prayer and it also seems we scored a record number of topics covered on one show today.

There are wars and rumors of wars and "incidents" in the Middle East but no pinpoints where and when.  Stranger yet, most of the world has remained strangely silent about Israel’s secret raid on Syria.  Who, what, when, where, why?  Dr. Joe Duarte (www.joe-duarte.com) and Avi Lipkin (www.vicmord.com) join us.

Congress’s efforts to disarm American veterans has cause a big row.
It goes a lot further than people realized.  The government is drawing up elaborate lists of  people who will not be permitted to own weapons.  Larry Pratt from Gun Owners of America (www.gunowners.org) is next up on the show.

Finally, we return to the thread begun two weeks ago revolving around sexual issues in the church.  It’s about 15 years since Malachi Martin accurately predicted the pedophilia scandal that would eventually wash over Catholicism.  There has been unending media coverage of lawsuits but little of survivors and the church’s actions.  There seems to be more interest in covering assets than in doing what it has told the faithful to do for years:  confess.
Tony Lembo tells the story in his book, "The Hopeville Fire Department."

John’s boralogue features a clip of former Mexican President Vicente Fox admitting he and President Bush were aiming for a unified currency for Mexico and the U.S.  John ties this to the 60- year intellectual discussion of global currency unification.

    Much Ado about Much

    2007 - 10.06

This weekend is a jump-around show if there ever was one.

The first two segments feature an extended newscast of small but important stories that appeared during the week, notably areas affecting global governance, such as the Law of the Seas Treaty, which is currently on a ramrod journey through the U.S. Senate.

Globalism extends into segment three with a continuation of No Child Left Behind and its agenda of indoctrinating American school children into international socialist thinking.  Dr. Karen Effrem, Ph.D, (www.edwatch.org) joins the program.

As war drums beat toward Iran, Richard Loomis from World Energy
(www.worldenergysource.com) provides a backgrounder as to why relations with that country are twisting and turning.  Finally partitioning of Iraq has reached the table recently and Dr. Ivan Eland of the Independent Institute (www.independent.org) rings in on its feasibility.
