    The Three-Legged Crisis

    2007 - 12.29

Hope you’re enjoying the holiday season.

We’re taking time off today so the entire program features an address given by John at the Koinonia Institute 2007 conference in November, focusing on the converging crises and issues in the areas of geopolitics, geoeconomics and religious worldview conflicts, which will all intersect in the next 48 months.

No boralogue today.  The entire program is a boralogue.

    Sharia Banking

    2007 - 12.22

We’re taking a few weeks off for the holidays so our programs will be pre-recorded and focused on themes rather than "chasing" news stories.

There’s a new term emerging in global banking, called "Sharia banking," meaning banking conducted according to Islamic law, included not charging interest for loans and requiring payments be made to Islamic charity.  Now western banks are jumping into Sharia banking with relish, raising serious questions about security issues.  Pat Wood from the August Review (www.augustreview.com) is the first guest on the show.

When Lyndon Johnson began the great society, the country was promised that poverty would be eliminated.  But it would seem the great liberal vision failed to materialize.  David Tubbs authored "Freedoms Orphans, Contemporary Liberalism and the Fate of America’s Children."

Joseph Farah founded the internet newspaper, Worldnetdaily, starting a revolution in how news was being reported and distributed.  For the last part of the program we air segments of his recent talk at the Koinonia Institute Conference in November of 2007.

John’s boralogue analyzes the forces that have driven radical changes in western culture for the last 50 years.

The Treaty of Lisbon and the SPP

    2007 - 12.15

It was an interesting week politically.  Many of the debating presidential candidates proved the inmates are really in charge of the asylum.  Former Vice President Al Gore wants a global carbon tax at a time energy is becoming tight and the global economy is running into really rough times.  Politics:  ya gotta love it.

Larry Pratt from Gunowner’s of America (www.gunowners.org) jumps on board and discusses this week’s church shootings in Colorado as an example of a law-abiding armed citizen stopping a gunman.

Then Harold Hoffman of Britannia Radio (www.britanniaradio.co.uk) logs in from the U.K. to examine the Treaty of Lisbon, discussing the effects it has on the Security and Prosperity Partnership here in the U.S.  Since Harold is an accountant by training, we’ll also chat (or yell) about the emerging global monetary crises, which will make the "subcrime" mortgage fiasco pale by comparison.

John’s boralogue sets the Christmas spirit and also examines why economic policy in a republic tends to zigzag left and right without any marked changes.

    Saul Alinksy and His Disciples

    2007 - 12.08

The entire show follows a thread, which begins with comments by Congressman Ron Paul (R-Tx) at the CNN YouTube debate last week.
The congressman’s statements are proven true in a speech by Manitoba Lieutenant Governor John Harvard on November 20, 2007, admitting that there really is an overall plan to construct a trade corridor all the way from Mexico through the U.S. into Canada.

Then Dr. Dennis Cuddy, Ph.D., author of "The Globalists," jumps back into the guest seat and traces the stream of globalist thought from the era of Senator Joseph McCarthy to the Trans-Texas corridor.

This dovetails into the fact that forty years ago, American liberalism abandoned its blue dog roots and made a hard lurch to the left, following the trail of communists such as Antonio Gramsci and Saul Alinsky.  Alinsky’s disciples are functioning in today’s Democratic presidential campaign.  Richard Poe is co-author of "The Shadow Party, How George Soros, Hillary Clinton and 60s radicals Seized Control of the Democratic Party.

John’s boralogue frames today’s program thread.

When Flaky Oil and Floppy Oil Meet

    2007 - 12.01

"Ah distinctly I remember, it was in the bleak December."
Well, so much for Edgar Allen Poe and his ranting and Raven.
There’s a radio show to do.

The Supreme Court has agreed to hear an appeal on the unconstitutional gun ban in Washington D.C.  This case may have long-reaching effects on gun rights.  Peter Ferrara from the American Civil Rights Union (www.acru.org) joins us for one segment.

You’ve heard explanations how our form of government is being changed without the consent of the governed, notably through the public/private partnerships.  So here’s a real-world example from the State of Maryland. Paul Chesser from the John Locke Foundation
    (www.johnlocke.org) joins us.

Then we run two clips on the subject of the interaction of global currency markets and the emerging oil shortage.  The first guest is Gary Dorsch (www.sirchartsalot.com) and the second is Matt Simmons (www.simmonsco-intl.com).  When we get done you’ll understand the coming collisions.

John’s boralogue does a whirlwind review of important geopolitical news.
