    Food Fit for Your Friends

    2009 - 02.28

Hi gang. Today’s show blasts off with a short boralogue updating
the global economic situation and a picture of the next 48 months.
Needless to say, it’s going to be a wild ride.

But never fear. We’re opening a new thread to help listeners make
it through the ride. What can you do for your family and
neighbors? One thing is to anticipate possible disruptions in food
supplies. Joann Brusso (www.babybites.info) debuts on the program
with her method of preparing for food supply disruptions; painless
preparations now but if something goes wrong, you’re ready to help
    your family and neighbors.

Then we’ll take air audio clips contrasting speeches by Presidents
Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Barack Hussein Obama. Hmmm. They
sound the same. Different day. Same crisis. This is followed by
    a briefing on a new cold war, which has erupted in the Middle East;
    between Muslim countries.

Finally, it seems the constitution isn’t fashionable these days,
especially in the court systems. Professor Bradley C.S. Watson is
author of “Living Constitution, Dying Faith.”

    The Global Geopolitical Tour

    2009 - 02.21

If we said, “Busy show today,” you’d say, “Yeah, so what else is
new?” So we won’t say it, even if it’s so.

Today’s program launches an extended two-segment boralogue on the
global geopolitical situation, placing emphasis on the Middle East
    and Mexico.

Then if you like freedom, we hope you’re not an atheist. The new
atheists fervently evangelize their cause that western freedom is
a product of secularist ideas and that religion is a threat to it.
But Rabbi David Novack, professor of Jewish studies at the
University of Toronto, challenges that premise. His book “In
Defense of Religious Liberty,” says the evidence clearly shows
    otherwise.

As Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu becomes Israel’s next prime minister,
we’ll hear from Avi Lipkin in Jerusalem on the mindset of Israelis
toward any kind of a peace process at this stage in history. Avi
is author of the book, “Is Fanatic Islam a Global Threat?”

Finally, Rick Santelli from CNBC television made the top of The
Drudge Report this week with his declaration of the need for
another “tea party” by the American people. The polls back him up:
both Wall Street and Main Street are voting thumbs down on the new
pork stimulus package. John runs the Santelli clip and then
explains why in a depression the rules are different from a
recession, and why ongoing bailout and stimulus packages will
continue to fail, pitching us into Stage 2 of the perfect financial
storm. We wish it weren’t so, but it is.

    Six-Legged Warriors

    2009 - 02.14

Another busy show today. Oh well, its gives us all something to do
    over the weekend.

John starts off by explaining how an international monetary crisis
is morphing into an international geopolitical crisis, with the
rising potential for armed conflict. Two themes predominate: The
crisis supposedly demonstrates failed “liberal capitalism” and
there’s a call for a “new order” globally, which strangely enough
looks a lot like the “global governance” the internationalists have
been pushing for a long time, repackaged into something supposedly
    “new.”

Then we’ll journey back to the future for the next push in creating
a trans-Texas corridor. Hey we thought that was dead! The Texas
legislature said so. Aw, fooled us. It’s just been broken up into
separate pieces of legislation and the politicians are hoping no
one notices. Tom DeWeese from www.americanpolicy.org joins us.

As the global economic situation becomes more unstable in the
crisis window, competition for food and energy is going to become
acute. Bio-terrorism will probably rise and one form few suspect
uses insects to do the dirty work. Professor Jeffrey Lockwood from
the University of Wyoming is author of the book “Six Legged
    Warriors.”

    Darwin’s 200th Birthday

    2009 - 02.07

Hey gang! February 10th this week John & Carol celebrate their
30th wedding anniversary — doing radio and TV and offspring
    production together for thirty years.

John kicks off the show with an extended overview of the
congressional economic recovery proposals, the status of the entire
financial storm and a close-to-the-edge cameo appearance by trends
    forecaster Gerald Celente (www.trendsresearch.com).

Then fund manager and geologist Zapata George Blake
(www.zapatageorge.com) checks to see if the emerging energy storm
is still on track. Zapata’s report indicates world demand
continues to increase against limited supply and it’s only time
    before this hits the markets.

Then Larry Pratt from Gun Owners of America (www.gunowners.org)
appears for a report on proposed draconian gun control legislation
as well as court actions underway, which affect the right to bear
    arms.

Finally, February 12 marks the 200th anniversary of the birth of
Charles Darwin. Science magazines are publishing glowing reports
of evolutionary theory and how well it works, except they admit we
don’t have a clue how life started chemically nor who (or what) the
common ancestor to man and apes was. Oh well, just minor problems
to a “proven” theory. Jonathan Wells is author of “The Politically
    Incorrect Guide to Darwinism” guests.
