Marxism vs. Freedom

Happy Memorial Day, everyone. Who or what are we memorializing this holiday weekend? In this week’s abbreviated boralogue, John looks at upholding the Constitution and the morals and values that helped establish this country. If we don’t, our country may just disappear.

One of the ideologies looking to supplant freedom and capitalism in America is that of Marxism. Paul Kengor (www.visionandvalues.org), Executive Director of the Center of Vision and Values at Grove City College, joins us to refute defenders of Marxism who say that it just hasn’t ever been successfully implemented, and shows how progressives have adopted Marxist thought in their attempt to gain power.

Facebook has embarked on a campaign to silence conservatives online. Jim Hoft (www.thegatewaypundit.com), author and founder of The Gateway Pundit, describes how his website has been affected and asserts that since conservatives helped elect Donald Trump, social media sites are muzzling them so that it doesn’t happen again.

John and Producer Steve give a brief update in the Russiagate saga, focusing on the impending release of a report from the Office of the Inspector General. Then John and Tom Read, (www.acn.cc), head of American Christian Network and owner of several radio stations in the Pacific Northwest wax nostalgic about days of broadcast past, discussing the history of radio news and how the Internet is affecting it today.

John’s quote of the week:
If we keep battering on our foundational documents, which will tear them apart, we may discover we’ll get everything we want, except that the whole thing will have fallen apart. We can’t allow that. Otherwise, all of those people we remember this weekend, they truly will have died in vain.

Section 6 is on a Memorial Day weekend break but will return next week with more geopolitical stories from around the world.

Civil War: Part II

A house divided against itself cannot stand. The United States is meant to be united. In this week’s boralogue, John looks at how both feckless leaders and biased media are trying to convince us we are a terrible country and therefore divided. But reviewing his many conversations with people this past week, he asserts that we are very much united. It is time to start ignoring the biased untruthful media. We can all be different and united at the same time.

No one wants a repeat of the Civil War where we were a divided America. Are we seeing signs pointing us to a sequel? John Hawkins (www.rightwingnews.com), journalist and head of the Right Wing News website, reviews seven forces splitting this country apart, including tribalism, moral decline, huge debt, and a bloated government bureaucracy.

Hypocrisy and ideology go hand in hand, which may explain why some African-Americans support Planned Parenthood, despite its founder’s eugenic racist views. Mychal Massie (www.mychal-massie.com), Founder and Chairman of the Racial Policy Center, joins us to show that blacks are being lied to and ask why more black leaders are not speaking out against the hypocrisy.

John’s quote of the week:
Weak leaders hurt people. They are indecisive; they lack the courage to do what needs to be done. Weak ideologues push us into things not good for us, insisting they are terrific and that we must adhere to them just to keep failed ideological narratives going no matter what damage is caused – like Iranian nuclear treaties that don’t work or Paris climate accords that don’t do anything.

In this week’s Section 6, we play a recent interview John gave with Stand Up For the Truth on Q90FM near Green Bay, Wisconsin. Topics covered include: attacks on freedom of speech, censorship of Christian groups, the Left getting away with intimidation, and the five stages of persecution.

Coup de Tehran

Is it possible to have a newsworthy protest without violence and the shouting down of opponents? In this week’s boralogue, John looks at a protest in Sacramento earlier this month where thousands of people rallied against a bill that would have hindered homeschool parents’ ability to teach their children. The protest was peaceful and stood in stark contrast to the violence of Antifa rallies. But unlike with Antifa, there was a virtual media blackout in Sacramento.

Plus, in our clip of the week, John analyzes President Trump’s remarks ending the so-called Iran Deal and the aftermath of those comments.

Leading up to President Trump’s decision to pull out of the Iran Deal, Israel pulled off a massive coup in Tehran. Ken Timmerman (www.iran.org), President and CEO of the Foundation for Democracy in Iran, looks at Mossad’s operation to steal thousands of documents proving Iran’s nuclear program is still active and discusses President Trump’s battle with globalist elites.

Continuing our series on the heckler’s veto, we welcome Chris Gaubatz (www.understandingthethreat.com), Executive Vice President at Understanding the Threat, who examines free speech versus sharia law and how civilization jihad is happening all around us while most of us are unaware of its existence.

Revenue to the government may be up, but spending is out of control. Steve Levine (www.axios.com), Future Editor at online news magazine Axios, shows how millennials will be paying long into the future for the economic misdeeds of today. If we’re going to solve the problem, we need to start talking about possible solutions as soon as possible.

Finally, we welcome Tammi Rossman-Benjamin (www.amchainitiative.org), Director of the AMCHA Initiative, who analyzes anti-Semitism on college campuses and points out the hypocrisy of people who praise tolerance and decry hatred, but who are nothing but intolerant and hateful.

John’s quote of the week:
Which group of people would you rather listen to: those who can present rational, quiet arguments for their position in a respectful way, or those who shout down with irrationality and unreason anyone who opposes them, chanting cheap clichés which say absolutely nothing? If you’re a sane person, the answer is pretty simple.

In this week’s Section 6, John and Producer Steve discuss the following: an ongoing effort to subvert the electoral college system in favor of the popular vote, the prospect of the U.S. becoming the world’s top exporter of oil, and an interesting twist in the Robert Mueller saga.

What is Whiteness?

After more than 30 attempts, socialism has never once worked. We have plenty of examples from history to give us clues about where we are heading. In this week’s boralogue, John looks at North Korea, Nicaragua, and the former Soviet Union to show the steps that have led and are leading to socialist failure. It could happen here soon if we don’t heed the obvious warning signs.

Plus John pays tribute to the great Chuck Missler who went home to be with the Lord this week. Rest in peace, Mr. Missler (1934-2018).

What are the definitions of whiteness and slaveholder religions? John debates Jonathan Wilson-Hartgrove (www.jonathanwilsonhartgrove.com), Associate Minister at the historically black St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church in Durham, NC on the topics of religion and race, discrimination in law and politics, and how being white doesn’t necessarily refer to the color of your skin.

George Orwell’s book 1984 is looking more like nonfiction than fiction. Freelance journalist and author Joe Jarvis (www.dailybell.com) joins us to look at Homeland Security’s attempts to monitor media outlets for news stories about the department. This could lead to potential violations of the first amendment and set a dangerous precedent.

John’s quote of the week:
All socialists/Marxists are great at pulling down existing orders. They are terrific at it. They are lousy at running governments and they never keep their promises. They always become just like the ones that they claim they were going to pull down in order to free the people and deliver paradise on earth.

In this week’s Section 6, John and Producer Steve discuss Israel’s undercover operation exposing Iran’s nuclear deception, the DC District Court’s ruling that President Trump cannot rescind DACA, and the controversy surrounding Kanye West and his support for a conservative speaker.
