Are you hearing about what’s important in the world or just another media narrative? In this week’s boralogue, John looks at the war of words between President Trump and the Federal Reserve and the future of the U.S. economy. The media aren’t covering it so we are. Energy, money, and taxes are the key things to watch out for – not secret lawyer tapes or redacted documents.

Dany ShohamHow is President Trump handling the complicated nexus of negotiations with North Korea and Iran? Dr. Dany Shoham (www.besacenter.org), Senior Researcher at the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies, examines the nuclear link between those two countries and how the media is ignoring all of it.

David SchmusThe Supreme Court handed down a decision on public unions that is making waves in the world of education. David Schmus (www.ceai.org), Executive Director of the Christian Educators Association International shows how the Janus case has opened the door for public school teachers to opt of paying union dues and how unions are doing everything they can to keep that from happening.

Bruce ThorntonRight trumping has become a sport for the Left. Bruce Thornton (www.fresnostate.edu), Professor of Classics and Humanities at California State Fresno, discusses the importance of constitutional originalists on the Supreme Court so that everyone’s fundamental rights are protected equally.

John and Producer Steve finish out the show looking at President’s Trump’s behind-the-scenes strategies versus the constant onslaught of outrage from the mainstream media and the Left. For example, we were all going to pay dearly for tariffs against the EU, but now they are coming to the table to negotiate an end to unfair trade.

John’s quote of the week:
What has to happen to enforce these newly discovered rights is a very ham-fisted government has to come in and threaten a particular group of people to give the other people their rights.

In this week’s Section 6, John and Producer Steve look at President Trump’s refusal to declassify Russiagate documents, the media’s continued bias, the power of the Federal Reserve, and the uptick in violent depictions of President Trump.

President Trump has brought about the end of the world following his summit meeting with Vladimir Putin, so says the media. Is it true? In this week’s boralogue, John compares President Obama’s Russian strategy with that of President Trump’s and the latter is winning. But outrage and hyperbole are spewed forth to mask that fact. The question the media is not asking is: do you want someone who does something for show or someone who is effective?

How we view Judaism and Christianity depends on how much we study them. Berlin-based political analyst and columnist Raphael Castro (www.besacenter.org) shows us how a decline in the study of Scriptures has led to a loss of identity in Western culture. Europe has led the way in this and America seems eager to follow.

John and Producer Steve take a moment to discuss the summit between Presidents Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, looking at the bigger picture rather than the often repeated hysterical hyperbole (or hysterbole as we’re calling it) you are seeing on mainstream media channels.

Does the Bible contradict or promote socialism? Dr. Jay Richards (www.catholic.edu), Professor at the Catholic School of America, discusses the difference between government and personal involvement when it comes to helping the poor and what the Bible tells us about economics.

Is the resistance movement accomplishing anything or is it just causing more division? Author and historian Daniel Mallock (www.danielmallock.com) is back with us to explain how some groups of people have drifted away from honoring the Constitution as well as the philosophy behind the leftist hatred in this country.

John’s quote of the week:
We started out in this country by saying rights were given by God. Therefore, they are anchored in rock and they can’t be changed. The innate value of mankind – of humans – cannot be changed. Because that was given by God. No law can strike that away.

In this week’s Section 6, John looks at the origins of the French Revolution from an economic and religious perspective and compares many of the events then with events happening now.

Amidst all the fervor surrounding President Trump’s SCOTUS pick and the future of the Court, it’s important to remember how important our constitutional protections are. In this week’s boralogue, John looks at the Middle East peace process, manipulation of news by the international media, and attacks on Christians in Germany. It all serves as a reminder that in this country we are protected by a document that guarantees our freedoms. And it should stay that way.

How has church history and prophecy led to what we are seeing today in geopolitics, especially in the Middle East? Dr. Bill Watson (www.ccu.edu), Professor of History at Colorado Christian University, explains how some Christian churches end up with different viewpoints than other churches in regard to Jews and the end times.

Socialism has never worked whenever it has been implemented in history. Proponents of it now claim they can do it right. Jerry & Marilyn Farnik, Christian missionaries in the Czech Republic, remind us what Czechoslovakia was like under socialist rule in the 1980s and how they are fighting against a lingering atheism still there long after the fall of communism.

John and Producer Steve finish out the show this week discussing a new grassroots movement on Facebook called #WalkAway, where thousands of people are giving their testimonies about walking away from the Democrat Party due to their radical shift in values.

John’s quote of the week:
Those who seem to be intent upon pulling down various parts of constitutional protections – for whatever their cause happens to be – are also the ones who are running around telling you why your rights don’t apply. That should make us very, very nervous.

In this week’s Section 6, John and Producer look at President Trump’s pick for the Supreme Court and how the next few months may play out in Congress. Plus, John discusses the power of prayer and God’s will.
