The media caused significant climate change this week spewing hot air and doomsday claims following President Trump’s announcement that the U.S. would be pulling out of the Paris Climate Accord. In this week’s boralogue John looks at how we got to this stark division over climate change and why the globalists are steaming mad at the President’s decision.

What if the bomb that exploded in Manchester, England a few weeks ago had been nuclear? Is it easy for terrorists to build a nuclear device? Robert Gleason (www.robertgleasonbooks.com), Author and Editor at Tor/Forge Books, provides startling details on just how easy it is to smuggle nukes into the U.S. and advocates for sensible disaster preparedness.

Many college campuses allow free speech as long as it’s in a small and poorly trafficked area. Matt Lamb (www.tpusa.com), Director of Campus Integrity for Turning Point USA examines free speech zones on campuses and the Left’s effort to quash speech that is deemed hateful – in other words, speech they don’t like.

We’ve heard from climate alarmists and climate deniers, but what is actually behind the climate change agenda? Eric Worrall (www.wattsupwiththat.com), a mobile app developer in Queensland, Australia examines carbon pricing and how it works and looks at the lack of success of renewables companies, despite assistance from government.

There is a war on free speech in this country and it’s only heating up. Kim Strassel (www.wsj.com), Journalist and Editor at the Wall Street Journal joins us to discuss free speech on campuses and in politics and the behind the scenes machinations of the Left to shut down free speech using both government bureaucracies and intimidation.

John’s quote of the week:
“The directive of the United Nations was not to find the cause of global warming but rather find man-made causes, because then they could regulate it, legislate it, and best of all, tax it.”

This week during our Section 6 Intelligence Briefing, we’ll talk about Sharia Law vs the West, honor killings, hate speech in Canada, and discuss the life and work of pastor Richard Wurmbrand.

Not So Civil War

How much longer will the American people tolerate the constant onslaught of media hysteria regarding the Trump administration? In this week’s boralogue, John looks at how the media is firing buckshot at President Trump, hoping something will stick until a legitimate scandal comes along that they can sink their teeth into. The problem, though, is you can’t maintain Chicken Little status forever. Eventually people will stop taking you seriously.

The nation is divided along separate ideologies. Could this lead to another civil war? Daniel Greenfield (www.frontpagemag.com), Journalism Fellow at the Horowitz Freedom Center joins us to discuss the Left’s hypocrisy toward every issue and how if left unchecked could lead to an extended outbreak of violence.

Middle East peace has been a dream for western leaders for many years. Louis Gordon (www.csusb.edu), Political Science Lecturer at CSU San Bernardino and Ian Oxvenad (www.ucr.edu), Political Science PhD candidate at UC Riverside, advocate for understanding people groups and regions rather than entire countries as a way to recognizing peace in the Middle East.

Belief in climate change has reached an almost religious fervor. Oren Cass (www.manhattan-institute.org), Senior Fellow at the Manhattan Institute, looks at scientists who refuse to debate, so-called deniers who ignore all science outcomes, and how both groups need to come together and calmly discuss not only the data but also potential economic outcomes.

John’s quote of the week:
“There is a war on truth going on: whether the truth will be able to be spoken and whether or not our system of government can actually survive in an environment where it isn’t allowed to be spoken.”

This week for the Section 6 intelligence Brief, John gets into what’s going on in the areas of: media lies, leaks from the Deep State, prophecies of the end times, and Christian Persecution.

President Trump recently met with sheriffs from around the country to discuss, among other things, civil asset forfeiture. In this week’s boralogue, John shows why the President’s decision to endorse forfeiture is wrong, looking at its history from good idea to money-grabbing corruption. Upholding the Constitution must return to policing.

How does newly appointed Attorney General Jeff Sessions link to civil asset forfeiture? Prominent forfeiture attorney Brenda Grantland (www.brendagrantland.com) points out that despite the increase of thousands of cases each year, made possible by Sessions’ proposals in the Senate, drugs and crime have not decreased.

A whistle-blower has revealed that the NOAA manipulated statistics in an attempt to assure climate conference attendees that the earth’s temperature is increasing. Rejoining the program is Dr. Matt Briggs (www.wmbriggs.com), Adjunct Professor at Cornell University, who points out that taking the earth’s temperature is quite difficult and climate alarmists will use whatever data best fits their narrative.

After President Trump’s press conference with Benjamin Netanyahu this week, mainstream news outlets cried foul when he didn’t call on them for questions. Curtis Houck (www.newsbusters.org), Managing Editor of NewsBusters refutes the media’s claim that not calling on them is an attack on free speech as well as their attempt to equate new democrat town halls with the Tea Party movement in 2009.

The hard Left seems content on being apologists for Islamic jihadists, but why? Richard Landes (www.seconddraft.org), History Professor at Boston University explains that the Left and jihadists have similar goals in combating supposed Western imperialism. The Left doesn’t realize, though, that they will be discarded when the mission is finished.

John’s quote of the week:
“If you expect us to support law enforcement when people say that police lives don’t count – and we have and we do support you in that – then we expect you to support your oath to protect and defend the Constitution, not your cash flow.”

No ICANN

Have we learned anything from watching the news in the past 15 years? In this week’s boralogue, John looks at the duplicitous nature of politicians and the media, showing, for example, how the health of our two presidential candidates is being covered so differently depending on which network you watch. Media bias has been exposed and politically correct narratives are sidelining meaningful debate and the truth – often with disastrous results.

What would be the best way for politicos to shut down opposing opinions? Kevin Freeman (www.globaleconomicwarfare.com), Founder and CEO of Freeman Global Holdings, joins us to review what ICANN is, when it will take control of the internet, and the dangers of no oversight. The war on free speech is heating up and anyone who doesn’t agree with the PC narrative could be shut down.

One narrative that refuses to listen to dissenters is that of anthropogenic global warming. Matt Briggs (www.wmbriggs.com), Adjunct Professor of Statistics at Cornell University, examines the flawed research and science behind the climate change agenda and where the ultimate result is heading: more government control.

John’s quote of the week:
“The politically correct consensus is almost always wrong because politicians frequently lie to us. What authorities tell us is often wrong and driven by internal politics or political correctness. In those cases, they cannot be relied upon as a reliable source of news or information.”
