Core Implosion

The world’s political pendulum may be swinging back to the Right, and it has those in mainstream media all in a frenzy. In this week’s boralogue, John looks at the global pushback on leftist progressive thinking and the media’s response that it’s fascism. But it’s those on the Left determined to quash free speech who are behaving like fascists. The solution is for us to insist on the right to speak the truth.

A school textbook sales rep spoke the truth in an undercover video and revealed a fact about education in America: it’s all about money. Joining us is William Estrada (www.hslda.org), Director of Federal Relations for Home School Legal Defense, who examines the problems of both the Common Core curriculum and a national database of school children information as well as advocates for decentralizing our education system.

Picking up where he left off last week, Dr. Geoff Shaw (www.counterinsurgency.com), President of Alexandrian Defense Group, discusses U.S. government policies leading up to the Vietnam War, how our State Department today allows ideologies to influence politics, and President Obama’s speech in Cairo that touched off the Arab Spring.

John’s quote of the week:
“Being unable to solve the big problems and becoming a large unaccountable bureaucratic machine, the Brussels bulldozers have tangled member states up in all sorts of regulatory nonsense and floods of immigration problems, while telling the populaces of those countries to like it or lump it. But some of the population has a better idea – they want to leave it.”

As always, join us online for our Section 6 intelligence briefing featuring analysis by John on important stories highlighting emerging geopolitical trends around the world.

Obama’s Middle East Policy is Bankrupt

In pursuing news issues on a day to day basis, arriving at the truth of an issue demands filtering through mounds of arguments and counter-arguments plus downright disinformation. As long as reality can be kept at bay, even fallacious arguments survive for a long time in the media. However, when a narrative utterly collapses, it is instructive to witness how those on the wrong side of an issue handle the implosion.

So John’s extended boralogue retraces a history leading up to the Arab spring’s not-surprising collapse into winter, along with an inquiry as to why the media insist on pounding their narratives in the light of glaring contradictions.

Then we’ll see how well the World Council of Churches deals with all of this, even as they have issued a statement concerning the condition of Christians in Pakistan. Dexter van Zile from CAMERA (www.camera.org) joins us.

At the beginning of the decade we heard claims asserting that “Bush stole the election.” What if President Obama wins the popular vote in November’s election but Governor Romney wins the electoral college? Could we be headed for another constitutional or credibility crisis? Tara Ross (www.taraross.com) is an attorney and author of “Enlightened Democracy: The Case for the Electoral College.”

It’s been a year now since Occupy Wall Street, originally billed as a “day of rage,” burst upon the scene as a counterpart to the Tea Party movement. Since the news media have pounded on the dark forces supposedly inside the Tea Party, what’s the record of OWS? 7,000 arrests in over 100 cities in the country would be a good start. Matthew Vadum (www.matthewvadum.com www.capitalresearch.org) ties the history of OWS to Acorn and the radical leftist movement of the 1960s.

That Nagging Cognitive Dissonance in the Middle East

Given all of the events of the week in the Middle East and the global monetary situation, have you noticed that nagging cognitive dissonance you’re feeling in your gut? It’s caused by the widening gap between the politically correct narratives about the Middle East and the contradicting realities which are unfolding, right on schedule as we predicted.

John’s extended boralogue addresses the politically correct narratives of the last two years spun by the global media around the Arab Spring, and why the media just can’t bring themselves to abandon the narratives in the face of strong contradicting evidence.

Then former Independent Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura joins us for a spirited chat, where he maintains that it doesn’t make any difference whom we elect if it’s a Democrat or a Republican, because they’re all playing the same soak-the-people game together and nothing has changed for years. Governor Ventura details his vision of the urgent tasks necessary to rescue the country along with commentary on his new book, /”DemoCRIPS and ReBLOODlicans.”/

We got a real belly laugh this week when the Internal Revenue Service said it wouldn’t be involved in enforcing Obamacare. Really? I thought the Supreme Court said the whole thing is constitutional because it’s a tax. So why wouldn’t they be involved? Dr. Keith Smith (www.surgerycenterok.com) returns to the program for the latest realizations about where an underfunded and over-regulated Obamacare will take us.
