Hardball Questions

We have always urged you to pray for Christians who are being persecuted for their faith around the world. John relates in his boralogue a few examples of Christian leaders or congregants who are either blindsided by violence or face death for their choice of faith. In Pakistan, a mob looted homes and attempted to burn a church after a mentally challenged Christian man was alleged to have burned a copy of the Quran. An Ethiopian man was ordered to kill two Christian pastors or his children would die. From Sudan to Nigeria to India and beyond, persecution of Christians is on the rise. They need our prayers.

If someone cheats a little, do you call them on it? Or do you continue turning a blind eye as the cheating persists? Iran is cheating and the U.S. is doing nothing about it. Shoshana Bryen (www.jewishpolicycenter.org), Senior Director at the Jewish Policy Center, reveals that Iran is end running our nuclear agreement by attempting to enrich uranium without the use of centrifuges. She also examines the Vatican’s recognition of a Palestinian State, which is less favorable to the Palestinians than many think and is probably more of an effort to defend the rights of Christians in the Middle East, or Palestine at least.

When it comes to the U.S. embassy attack in Benghazi in 2012, the hardball questions still remain unanswered. Arnold Ahlert (www.frontpagemag.com), op-ed writer for Front Page Magazine, explores the connection between Benghazi and Syria, cover ups by the Obama administration, and how Hilary Clinton’s many scandals may affect her chances in next year’s presidential election.

If you attempt to bring Christians, Jews, and Muslims together in a spirit of love and tolerance, is it really possible when one group’s core belief involves hatred toward the other two? We welcome back to the program retired LAPD officer and instructor Dr. Stephen Kirby (www.islamseries.org) to examine the Omaha Tri-Faith Initiative and its pledge to heal religious differences. It is permissible for Muslims to lie and pretend to get along with people from other faiths, but “progressive” Muslims don’t adhere to that. When faced with either duplicity or a false doctrine of Islam, is it really a tri-faith initiative?

The Day Cloward Met Piven

John’s boralogue starts the program by applying the classic template test to the Starbucks decision not to allowed armed persons in their stores in order to see how that might work in other cases.

Recently we did a round table on change agents and how they function in government board meetings to steer audiences to pre-determined outcomes and also to deal with dissenters. This last week week a concerned parent was pitched out of a school board meeting and arrested for objecting to how the meeting was being conducted. Arnold Ahlert from Front Page Magazine (www.frontpagemag.com) is the first guest up.

Then by listener request, we’ll jump into the Cloward-Piven Strategy and how it can be used to effect change by overloading government. James Simpson returns to the program (www.americanthinker.com/james_simpson/).

Finally John examines the controversy surrounding a lengthy interview of Pope Francis.

How Do You Deal with Oxymorons When you Meet Them?

John’s boralogue kicks off the show with an observation that the proud illogic expressed by tolerance and diversity has shifted. Adherents are now saying certain types of intolerance are OK. Go figure. It’s reached a new level of oxymoronic nonsense.

Then we’ll chase the boralogue with a conversation with columnist Arnold Ahlert, who writes for Jewish World Review and Frontpage Magazine (www.jewishworldreview.com), (www.frontpagemag.com). We’ll connect the suspension of a college diversity director with media coverage of the Middle East. It’s a wild conversation, but totally interesting and there really is a common thread.

You’ve probably heard President Obama promoting a Common Core Curriculum as an educational standard for the country, as federal bureaucrats tempt states into signing on, usually by bribing them with laptop computers. But what are these standards? Do teachers know they’re gradually being replaced by computers? Why does the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation keep popping up in the middle of all this? Do parents know their children’s information will be data based? Dr. Mary Grabar, Ph.D., (www.dissidentprof.org) (www.marygrabar.com) is one of a group of dissenting professional educators who believe the current “reform” is no reform.
