How does one discern truth in the age of fake news? Departing from the norm, Producer Steve takes over the mike for this week’s snoozalogue (don’t worry John will be back for the rest of the show), looking at ways to recognize truth whenever mainstream news pundits give you a fake story. All it takes is hard work and determination. And maybe a little prayer.

Back at the helm, John welcomes Linda Harvey (www.missionamerica.com), Founder of Mission America, who continues our discussion on education unions after the Janus decision and how the NEA looks out for itself and for teachers, but not for children.

Why is it so difficult for Islam to assimilate with Western culture? Robert Spencer (www.jihadwatch.org), Director of Jihad Watch, contrasts gender equality and free speech, bastions of the West, with traditional Islamic ideals and discusses the history of jihad.

The uproar continues over Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court. David Harsanyi (www.thefederalist.com), Senior Editor at The Federalist, examines why leftists who oppose Judge Kavanaugh are more afraid of the Constitution than the man tasked with upholding it.

Understanding the past helps predict and possibly prevent calamity in the future. Stephen Halbrook (www.independent.org), Senior Fellow at the Independent Institute, analyzes gun registration and confiscation in France just prior to Hitler’s takeover and asks the question: what would gun confiscation look like if it were implemented in today’s America?

Finally, longtime guest and friend of the program Avi Lipkin (www.vicmord.com) joins us to reveal Israel’s new Bible Bloc Party, a political group he founded to give Christians, a growing population in Israel, representation in the Knesset.

John’s quote of the week:
Gun registration almost always precedes gun confiscation. The real question is what happens after that? The people today who are screaming for more gun regulations are the very same voices that tell us our rights to free speech and other rights don’t count.

Section 6 In this week’s Section 6, we play an interview John gave on Stand Up For The Truth on Q90FM in Wisconsin recently. John discusses the frenetic downfall of the leftist ideology as well as President Trump’s complicated and intertwined global negotiations. He goes on to look at truth and relativism in today’s world and building your worldview on rock, not sand.

Farewell 2015, we hardly knew ye. Time flies as we welcome in the New Year. Happy 2016, everyone! We will dispense with the boralogue this week and jump right in with our first guest, Bill Koenig (www.watch.org), head of World Watch Daily, who looks at the year in review and what is to come.

In an extended conversation, Bill examines Donald Trump’s rise in popularity and the media’s dislike of it, the dynamics from last year’s comments by the Pope, how President Obama is viewed from inside our government, and what’s in store for Israeli-Palestinian relations this year. Can the world get crazier than it currently is? Dangerous question to ask.

How will the Middle East play out in 2016 and beyond? We welcome back long-time guest Avi Lipkin (www.vicmord.com), who shares his predictions of major geopolitical and military moves between Saudi Arabia, Iran, Egypt, and Turkey, how immigration will further Islam’s war on the West, and a confrontation between the one-world government and Islam over power and money.

John’s quote of the week:

“The problem with the institutional racism game is … it’s like a game you get in to – you can’t win, you can’t break even, and you can’t get out of the game. And the only answer is not to play.”

Our Section 6 intelligence brief is on hiatus this week, but it will return next week.

This week marks 25 years that Steel on Steel has been on the air. We have a jammed packed show this week, full of future predictions as well as a look back at some of our favorite moments from the last quarter century. We will postpone the boralogue and dive right in, welcoming back to the program William Forstchen (www.onesecondafter.com), a professor of history at Montreat College in North Carolina. He discusses what would happen if terrorists set off an EMP bomb and the chaos and hardships to follow, as well as Congress’s failure to repair a creaking electrical infrastructure, coronal mass ejection – the sun’s EMP – and urges each of to prepare for a future attack.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu caused quite a stir this week with comments suggesting that former grand mufti of Jerusalem, Hajj Amin al-Husseini, was directly involved in Hitler’s plan to exterminate the Jews. In a belated boralogue, John examines al-Husseini’s life, including his involvement with the Nazis, and analyzes the media’s bias against Israel.

We finish up this week by looking back and sharing with you some important moments in the show’s history as we celebrate our 25th anniversary. We thank you for listening and we will continue to be your early warning service, dedicated to the sharpening of ideas, news, commentary, interview, information and debate, much of which you will not hear elsewhere.

Our weekly intelligence news briefing, Section 6!

This week in Section 6, John takes a look at the continued violence in Jerusalem and the media’s take on it as well as church history and how it relates to current events. Also, in celebration of our 25 years on the air, we conclude Section 6 with a full show from 1995 featuring a conversation with Chuck Missler and Avi Lipkin.

We have an update to the book set When All Plans Fail by medical missionary Dr. Paul Williams. Get them both for just $30.00 in our Media Store!

Disaster expert Dr. Paul Williams explains what you need to know and do to be prepared for the worst with hope. Drawing on 30 years medical missions experience in more than 100 countries, he helps you learn how to face emergencies with confidence and faith. With detailed checklists and step-by-step advice, the book will show you how to live in the now, but prepare for the future.

Welcome to spring! As we turn to a new season on the calendar, we also turn the page on another election is Israel. We are suspending the boralogue this week and jumping into a series of four unique voices who will lend us their views on what they believe is coming in the next 24-48 months for the West as well as for the Middle East in general and for Israel in particular.

Giving us a direct view from inside, Avi Lipkin (www.vicmord.com), joins us first from Israel to comment on the victory this week by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and to touch on America’s less than stellar history in honoring agreements with the Jewish state.

What would happen if President Obama’s deal with Iran is consummated? Steven Rosen (www.meforum.org), Director of the Washington Project at the Middle East Forum, explores the possibilities for the region not only if the deal were passed but also if Obama steps in agreement with the Palestinian Authority on the international criminal court.

When Islamic terrorists ratchet up attacks on those in the West, will our response be the same as it’s always been? Lt. Col. Scott Mann, retired U.S. armed forces Green Beret and head of the Stability Institute, offers an alternative solution. Our policy will need to change because, he says, “We might be done with violent extremism, but it’s not done with us.”

Finally, we welcome to the program Lauri Regan (www.whitecase.com), attorney for White & Case in New York, who examines the weakness in U.S. policy and how it may take another attack of massive proportions for our nation to wake up to our lapsing security.

Our weekly intelligence news briefing, Section 6!Join us for our weekly Section 6 intelligence briefing, featuring analysis by John on important stories highlighting emerging geopolitical trends around the world. This week, John takes a look at orthodoxy and dissenters.
