Congress has voted to change Social Security in an effort they say will save the government money. In this week’s boralogue, John shows that it will actually lessen the amount seniors receive by limiting their options. This begins the great reneging, where promises collide with reality. Money being poured into social programs will go toward servicing our unmanageable debt. As we count down to Election Day 2016, remember that whoever is in office when the powder keg blows will receive the blame.

Eliminating disease during fertilization that will result in a healthy child sounds good in theory. But are we gene slicing off more than we can handle? Molecular biologist technologist Rebecca Taylor (www.marymeetsdolly.com), examines the emergence of three-parent offspring and the dangerous pace of human genetic testing. This could lead to human-designed babies that are smarter, faster, and stronger, but will they still be human?

We reported over the summer that several government agency databases were hacked and personal information compromised. Joining us this week is Bartlett Cleland (www.ipi.org), Research Fellow with the Institute for Policy Innovation, who discusses the Cyber Security Information Sharing Act and how inter-agency sharing could lead to a majority of American citizens with government profiles.

Who could oppose the Muslim Leadership Initiative plan to allow Muslims to better understand Jews and Israel? Answer: the Boycott, Divest, and Sanctions (BDS) movement. Cinnamon Stillwell (www.campus-watch.org), West Coast Representative of Campus Watch, reveals the source behind BDS’s opposition to this program and shows the difficulty students face with political activist teachers.

Remember: Truth is hate speech only to those people who hate the truth.

Our weekly intelligence news briefing, Section 6!

This week in Section 6, for online subscribers, John takes a closer look at both political correctness and the European migrant crisis.

Theoretically governments are supposed to save the planet for future generations. But we now have to ask if we are being forced to save ourselves from those who are saving the planet. Julie MacDonald is former Deputy Undersecretary of the Interior (www.bestscience.org) and she debuts on the program to explain why so many governmental agencies are running rough shod over American citizens with little concern. Environmentalism has become a big-money game with only passing relation to saving the environment.

It seems the United Nations is getting ready to try to impose its control of the Internet by revising an existing international telecommunications treaty. Bartlett Cleland from the Institute for Policy Innovation (www.ipi.org) joins us.

Then in the last part of the program we’ll air clips from congressional hearings this week on persecution of Christians in China, especially noting the plight of Chinese human rights attorney and activist Chen Guangcheng.

John’s boralogue responds to a recent (offensive to many) speech by gay atheist activist Dan Savage to a group of high school journalism students, which has gone viral in some sectors. We’ll examine statements he made from a worldview perspective.
