Politics today is nothing if not full of contradictions. In this week’s boralogue, John looks at the many contradictions that exist with politicians, including the need to label President Trump a dictator all while behaving dictatorially themselves. Don’t pay attention to what politicians say; watch what it is they do. Study your candidates thoroughly and understand these contradictions when you head to the polls next month.

A leaked document from Google shows that the platform has control of a majority of online conversations and seems to be taking a turn toward censorship. Allum Bokhari (www.breitbart.com), Senior Technology Correspondent for Breitbart News, examines the implications from this document. Is there legal recourse for those affected and is there a way to even the social media playing field?

During and since the Kavanaugh circus, law school professors and their students have been stating that there is no need for due process or corroborating evidence. Heather MacDonald (www.manhattan-institute.org), Senior Fellow at the Manhattan Institute for Policy Research, discusses how the future of law could be corrupted, how conservatives are treated on campus, and the mysterious world of intersectionality.

Are Christians urged to distance themselves from Israel? Dexter Van Zile (www.camera.org), Christian Media Analyst for the Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting, describes how speakers and church leaders at the Christ at the Checkpoint Conference are convincing Christians that in order to convert Muslims to Christianity, they should shun Israel since Muslims are also against them.

John’s quote of the week:
Most of the discourse we’re engaged in involves clichés. The argument gets lost and you can’t get down to the core questions. It blocks you from getting to the answers. When information pops up elsewhere that your opponents would rather keep blocked, they are left with one alternative: to keep you from speaking. And that’s where freedom dies.

In this week’s Section 6, John and Producer Steve discuss the impact of potential carbon taxes on the rest of the economy, the controversy surrounding the Saudi journalist who was likely murdered at a consulate in Turkey, and the increase in leftist mob violence ahead of next month’s midterm elections.

Absolute truth is shunned by postmodernists and they do so absolutely. In this week’s boralogue, John looks at existentialism and postmodernism and their destructive effect on society today. To turn one’s back on truth and embrace relative thought is to set adrift in life with no foundation. To deal with this philosophy and whatever comes next, we should stand on our Christian faith.

On May 14-15, 2018, Israel celebrated their 70th anniversary and opened a U.S. embassy in Jerusalem. The media, however, focused on violence at the border with Gaza. John Guandolo (www.understandingthethreat.com), President and Founder of Understanding the Threat, was in Israel and describes what really happened and how civilian Israelis and those in the military view America.

Christ at the Checkpoint is an annual conference held in Bethlehem at the end of May. Are speakers at this conference conveying a Christian message? Olivier Melnick (www.chosenpeople.com), National Training Director for Chosen People Ministries, reveals that some Christians may be attempting to rewrite Biblical history to favor Palestine and disfavor Israel. He asks: is anti-Semitism at work in the Christian church?

To avoid violence on our borders and keep it from spreading into our country, President Trump’s administration is attempting to strengthen immigration policies. We welcome back retired INS Senior Special Agent Michael Cutler (www.michaelcutler.net) who discusses visa program loopholes, terrorist training centers in Central and South America, and sleeper agents within the U.S. who are biding their time.

John’s quote of the week:
You can’t make your own reality and complain when somebody else creates theirs in a way you don’t like. That’s the direct result of this nonsensical system of postmodernism which we’ve had for over 60 years. A society cannot be stable for very long with that.

In this week’s Section 6, John discusses the exclusivity of individual religions, how human nature and truth relate to our faith and America’s freedoms, and the repeal of Glass-Steagall.
