The Kavanaugh confirmation circus is finally over. What can we learn from all of this? In this week’s boralogue, John looks at the true nature of this battle: the death of judicial activism. SCOTUS may now return to correctly interpreting the Constitution. But there is a devious pattern to defeat candidates and, if they are not defeated, there is a pattern to delegitimize them and the Court. The battle may have been won, but the war is still ongoing.

John then plays a clip of Senator Ben Sasse (R-Nebraska) from the pre-allegation portion of the Kavanaugh confirmation hearing where he talks about the three legs of government and why the Supreme Court should not take on the role of Congress or be the center of politics.

John and Producer Steve sit down for a thorough postmortem on the Kavanaugh confirmation process, discussing the reasons behind the Democrats’ tactics, why presumption of innocent should be paramount, and how we bridge the gap between two sides with two very different ideologies.

No one seems to be talking about our economic future, so we have taken it upon ourselves to do just that. John examines the Trump euphoria and plays clips from Ron Paul and Dave McAlvany, who both suggest that we should learn the lessons of 2008 and watch very carefully the condition of our current economic bubble.

What is it like to walk off the Democrat plantation and promote conservatism? We welcome to the program the always entertaining real life sisters and internet sensations Diamond & Silk (www.diamondandsilkinc.com) who advocate for getting out the vote, watching their new movie, Dummycrats, and fighting hypocrisy in politics and the media.

John’s quote of the week:
Are we going to be a free society with the rights guaranteed under the Constitution of speech and religion and press and property – all of which have been under siege by judicial activism for the last 50 years – or will we go careening forward into some kind of oligarchic, progressive, socialistic dictatorship that we know from countries around the world always fails with economic and social collapse?

In this week’s Section 6, John looks at the recent market dip, anti-Semitism in Europe, the backfire of liberal tactics against Kavanaugh, and a very liberal news article, which he deconstructs. We then play an interview John gave with a local (northern Idaho) radio station, KYMS, where he and the host discussed the Pope, church history, and the latest with Christian persecution around the world.

There is actually a world outside of the Kavanaugh circus, but the media seems to only focus on the DC big top. In this week’s boralogue, John looks at geopolitics between Israel and the EU, specifically Germany and France, as well as the back and forth of the Israeli-Palestinian peace process. But with all of that and more happening around the world, the mainstream media has managed to turn a 10-minute newscast into a single-issue 24-hour event.

Is another government-led land grab happening in the name of preserving history? Tom DeWeese (www.americanpolicy.org), Founder and President of the American Policy Center, describes how change agents are trying to designate private land as National Heritage Areas and how landowners are fighting back.

The liberal world order has dubious origins going back nearly a century. Mitch Wright (www.countryporch.com), Retired Coast Guard member and online business owner joins John in studio to examine how we got here, looking at Alice A. Bailey, the Arcane School, The Plan, and the Lucis Trust.

John’s quote of the week:
“The problem with the European Union and countries like France is that their commitment to their Utopian ideals is blinding them to many of the dangers they are facing. At least publicly – behind the scenes they will be asking, ‘Hey, Israelis, do you have any intelligence for us?'”

In this week’s Section 6, John defers detailed analysis on the Kavanaugh vote until next week, but he does discuss Alinsky style tactics and how people are starting to catch on to them. He goes on to discuss the future of global economics, artificial intelligence making life and death decisions, and of course, Church history and theology.

Amidst all the fervor surrounding President Trump’s SCOTUS pick and the future of the Court, it’s important to remember how important our constitutional protections are. In this week’s boralogue, John looks at the Middle East peace process, manipulation of news by the international media, and attacks on Christians in Germany. It all serves as a reminder that in this country we are protected by a document that guarantees our freedoms. And it should stay that way.

How has church history and prophecy led to what we are seeing today in geopolitics, especially in the Middle East? Dr. Bill Watson (www.ccu.edu), Professor of History at Colorado Christian University, explains how some Christian churches end up with different viewpoints than other churches in regard to Jews and the end times.

Socialism has never worked whenever it has been implemented in history. Proponents of it now claim they can do it right. Jerry & Marilyn Farnik, Christian missionaries in the Czech Republic, remind us what Czechoslovakia was like under socialist rule in the 1980s and how they are fighting against a lingering atheism still there long after the fall of communism.

John and Producer Steve finish out the show this week discussing a new grassroots movement on Facebook called #WalkAway, where thousands of people are giving their testimonies about walking away from the Democrat Party due to their radical shift in values.

John’s quote of the week:
Those who seem to be intent upon pulling down various parts of constitutional protections – for whatever their cause happens to be – are also the ones who are running around telling you why your rights don’t apply. That should make us very, very nervous.

In this week’s Section 6, John and Producer look at President Trump’s pick for the Supreme Court and how the next few months may play out in Congress. Plus, John discusses the power of prayer and God’s will.

Next week marks the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation. In this week’s boralogue, John looks at the history of church reformation and the choices made that led directly to the freedoms we enjoy today. In modern America, we are in the midst of another reformation that brings with it a choice as well: keep our freedoms or fall victim to the new tradition of political correctness and multiculturalism.

What are the philosophical differences of Jews living in Israel versus those who live in America? Steve Kramer (www.timesofisrael.com), a retired business owner living in Tel Aviv, Israel breaks down the different sects of Judaism, how each group tends to vote, and looks at the Middle East chessboard involving Israel, Iran, and the Kurds.

Why do we believe what we believe? John Eidsmoe (www.morallaw.org), Law Professor at Faulkner University in Alabama, examines the moral basis for law and theology and looks at how our Constitution is both interpreted and used, often in ways it was never intended.

Some parts of the Bible are heavily discussed while others are ignored. Dr. Michael Heiser (www.drmsh.com), Scholar-in-Residence at Logos Bible Software, discusses the little-studied unseen world of the Bible and points out that how you read the Bible could affect your view of scripture.

John’s quote of the week:
When Luther nailed his theses to the church door in Wittenberg he wasn’t doing anything particularly brazen. But due to the social media of the day – the movable type printing press – his ideas caught fire and resulted in his eventual stand before Emperor Charles V. And the rest is history.

In our Section 6 intelligence brief, we air an episode from this week of Stand Up for the Truth, a podcast that featured John as a guest. He talks about the subtle form of brainwashing infiltrating the country and churches as well as the dialectic thought process and critical thinking.
