Language and words are important in today’s political and theological debates, but leftists are looking to shut down debate by changing the definitions of words. In this week’s boralogue, John shows the devolution of free speech in Berkeley from the 1960s through today. We can allow people to speak as we do in a free society. We can ban all speech as they do in totalitarian countries. Or we pick and choose like we’re doing now.

The Iran agreement in 2015 by the Obama administration has had problems from the outset. Emily Landau (www.inss.org.il), Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for National Security Studies in Israel examines the agreement’s shortcomings and how the United States will proceed with Iran under President Trump.

Narratives by the Left and the media about Russian collusion with Donald Trump have turned out to be untrue. Cliff Kincaid (www.aim.org), Director of the Center for Investigative Journalism at Accuracy in Media joins us to discuss narrative spinning once wiretap allegations against Team Trump proved to be true and what’s really happening behind the scenes between Russia and the U.S.

Socialism has never succeeded at any time in history and current events in Venezuela are no exception. Marian Tupy (www.cato.org), Senior Policy Analyst at the Cato Institute, relates his experience growing up in Communist Czechoslovakia, explaining the realities of socialism, and warns us that the U.S. is walking down a dangerous path.

John’s quote of the week:
“Speech that upsets people is not protected but it’s OK when their speech upsets people. And despite all the blather about what speech is protected and what isn’t, since shaming isn’t working anymore, the whole effort now is to shut people up while pretending that you’re not shutting people up.”

This week during our Section 6 Intelligence Briefing, John addresses the topic of freedom of speech as well as more coverage on the ‘Fake News’ phenomenon.

The Infiltration

Happy Memorial Day everyone.

We honor our country’s fallen heroes by examining the Constitution and how this nation was founded.

John’s boralogue explores our once-guaranteed freedom of religion and the erosion of that freedom, especially in the military. It’s once more “don’t ask, don’t tell” in the armed forces, only this time it involves religion. Christians are frequently called “haters,” but it’s Christians who serve to feed the hungry, heal the sick, provide shelter for the homeless and they are often the first on the ground during disasters.

Technology has certainly emerged as essential in our lives, with cell phones and computers helping us. As information has expanded, private companies and governments have initiated data collection programs to “better serve” you, the user. But how can those databases be used against us, and is it a violation of both privacy and the Constitution? Bruce Schneier (www.schneier.com), Chief Technology Officer of Resilient Systems, says we’re making it up as we go along; it’s a complex question. Who has oversight of the process, and do the benefits outweigh privacy concerns? Moreover what is the future of rights under this new system?

How did we get here? We have been examining the questions surrounding worldview issues shaping our country the past century. This week we’ll look at the Catholic Church’s internal struggle with Marxist ideas masquerading as Christian ones. Cliff Kincaid (www.aim.org), Director of the Center for Investigative Journalism at Accuracy in Media, discusses the gradual infiltration into the Church of Gramscian Marxism and how that has manifested in today’s liberation theology.

Following this thread, Marxist infiltration of the Church was predicted nearly 20 years ago by the author and biblical scholar, Dr. Malachi Martin, a former Jesuit priest. John finishes this week’s program by reviewing interviews with Dr. Martin from both Art Bell’s show and Steel on Steel in the 1990s. It is sobering to realize how accurate his insights into the future are borne out by events today.

The Malachi Martin Interview Series.

Malachi Martin SetJohn recorded seven key discussions with Dr. Malachi Martin in the 1990s. These informal interviews were aired on the broadcast, but are now assembled into a single set in audio CD and MP3 format.

Dr. Malachi Martin was a former Jesuit priest, Vatican historian and close associate of Pope John XXIII. He has authored many books about his Vatican findings including The Keys of This Blood and Windswept House.

This set contains all seven discussions John had with Dr. Martin in the 1990s before his death in 1999. Dr. Martin details shocking allegations of Satanic practices within the Vatican as far back as 1963. One such alleged event was the ‘Enthronement of the Fallen Angel Lucifer’ on June 29th 1963. This was done within the citadel by a cadre of cardinals and other ranked Vatican officials.

Political Correctness is Killing Us

Today’s program rotates around the effects of political correctness as new values are colliding with older values in trying enforce conformity to the new norms.

Cliff Kincaid from Accuracy in Media (www.aim.org / www.religiousleftexposed.com) engages in a conversation about Catholic hospitals being forced to provide contraception to employees, speculating on whether or not the church made a deal with the devil when it took government funds in the first place.

Then Tim Graham from the Media Research Center (www.mrc.org) follows Cliff for a comparison of the media’s handling of two recent similar controversies to examine whether bias is present or not.

Political correctness is strangling our ability to have reasoned debate in this country, which means it must be opposed at all points because it is a threat to freedom of speech. Peter Feaman (www.thenextnightmare.com) is author of “The Next Nightmare, How Political Correctness Will Destroy America.”

John’s extended boralogue analyzes the fundamental principles around which political correctness rotates and why we can’t win because the rules are confusing and rigged against us. The biggest problem with PC thought is that the catalog of what is right and wrong is ever changing and we have to keep updating our “PC definition database” so we don’t accidentally transgress.
