American Not Say-ism

If we’re not careful, history will repeat itself. In this week’s boralogue, John coins a new term: Not Say-ism – when people tell you what to say and not say, what to believe and not believe, and what to think and not to think. He compares the Not Says of today with the German Nazis of the 1930s and 1940s and points out the logical fallacies at the core of American Not Says.

What happens when a nation’s heroes are evaluated on the flaws and not on their accomplishments? Author and historian Daniel Mallock (www.danielmallock.com) shows that the latest push by leftists to erase parts of American history by tearing down statues is undoing all the good efforts it took to heal our nation after the Civil War.

The Not-Says are strong on college campuses. Madeleine Kearns (www.spectator.co.uk), Contributing Journalist at the Spectator, compares her time at university in Scotland and New York, recalling that identity politics is rising while free speech is in decline.

Not-Says are picking up steam online as well, with Facebook and YouTube leading the way. Matt Agorist (www.thefreethoughtproject.com), Founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Free Thought Project, recounts his battle with Facebook after they blocked his page once for extremist content and another time for no stated reason. Censorship is growing in cyberspace.

After dissecting Diane Feinstein’s comments and a religious test for office in the clip of the week, John speaks with Joe Fioramonti (www.darksquare.com), Founder and Artist at Dark Square about his art work in support of the Hurricane Harvey victims in Houston. We round out the program with Steel Producer Steve and John discussing Twitter tantrums and whether those who engage in them should be fired.

John’s quote of the week:
The mental disorder of American Not-Say-ism is a compulsive totalitarian instinct in which its adherents simply cannot resist coming apart at the seams upon hearing a trigger word and launching into lengthy irrational tirades or engaging in violence against the ‘offender’ – all in the name of defending safe spaces and being tolerant!

This week on our Section 6 Intelligence Brief: climate change questions to ask, contradictions of liberal beliefs (Berkeley, the Pope, climate alarmists), upcoming geopolitical changes in the Middle East, policy issues in the Trump administration (taxes, immigration, etc).

Racism is back in the spotlight after the events in Charlottesville. Is the fight against it being waged intelligently? In this week’s extended boralogue, John looks at what’s really causing division in our country, the similar roots of fascism and Marxism, and the need to uphold freedom of speech for everyone. Taking down statues isn’t going to solve racism. The freedom for everyone to exchange ideas and discuss the problem may.

Media meltdowns have increased exponentially since last November and it’s tarnishing the reputation of the fourth estate. Pulitzer Prize winner Michael Goodwin (www.nypost.com), Columnist for the New York Post, examines the lowering or at times complete elimination of journalistic standards when it comes to coverage of President Trump. Will the media recover? And should they?

Government control of healthcare can lead to a slide toward totalitarianism. We are joined by constitutional law attorney Jenna Ellis (www.ccu.edu) who reviews the Charlie Gard case in the UK and shows that government is usurping parents’ rights when it comes to their children. She also looks at religious freedom court cases involving cake bakers and gay weddings.

John’s quote of the week:
“When an issue goes stale or becomes dangerous, it is dropped like a hot potato and they move on to the next issue about which they are outraged, forgetting of course the previous outrage which is no longer apparently outrageous. When we have pulled down Confederate statues, they will not be pacified but will move on to the next outrage.”

Coming up in Section 6, John discusses a novel idea; how about free speech for everyone, regardless of their views and beliefs? Plus, what’s the best way to fight hate? It’s simpler than you think. John also covers the tactic of framing the debate and why the Left always seems to get the upper hand. Lastly, the topic of the history of the various reforms and splits in the Christian church. You won’t want to miss this!

Will the Real Fascist Please Stand Up?

President Trump’s inaugural speech was labeled dark and his recent executive order on immigration is considered by many as unconstitutional. In this week’s boralogue, John looks back at FDR’s ‘dark times’ speech and Bill Clinton’s 1995 speech advocating for tighter immigration and stronger borders. Was there a constitutional crisis then? No. Is there a crisis now? No. It’s all hyperbolic rhetoric.

Those who frame the debate and control definitions, control the information. Thomas Lifson (www.americanthinker.com), Editor and Founder of American Thinker discusses Google’s attempt to influence the masses by redefining ‘fascism’ as a right wing movement as well as the loss in credibility of the mainstream media.

What does the word ‘fascism’ actually mean? William Watkins (www.independent.org), Research Fellow at the Independent Institute examines the true definition and points out that redefining terms, falsely accusing others of hate speech, and assaulting people in order to silence opposition is actual fascist behavior.

January 27 marked the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 1 fire that killed three astronauts on a launch pad at Cape Kennedy, Florida. Joining us is Vern Westgate (www.vernwrites.com), retired Air Force veteran and NASA engineer who describes his work with Apollo 1, the engineering needed to make space travel safe, and the bureaucratic shuffling before and after the accident.

John’s quote of the week:
“Many people have forgotten the history of the country, why we are where we are, why the Constitution is written the way it is, and why it’s important to observe that. They have maybe not forgotten, but many never knew. That’s due to the politically correct history which is taught in the American education system and it’s leading us to wreckage.”

As always, join us online for our Section 6 intelligence briefing featuring analysis by John on important stories highlighting emerging geopolitical trends around the world.

False Flag

What is the true definition of fascism? In this week’s boralogue, John looks at different events in the West today and shows that fascism is rearing its ugly head again. It’s not, as many will have you believe, the attitude of anyone disagreeing with politically correct views. Fascism is agreeing that utilitarian state views should trump the religious principles of its people. We’ve been here before and it didn’t end well.

What would you do if you uncovered corruption and terrorism at your job? Sibel Edmonds (www.boilingfrogspost.com), Founder and President of the National Security Whistleblower’s Association, describes her dismissal from the FBI and subsequent harassment after uncovering security breaches and cover-ups at higher levels. She discusses false flag terror events, the military industrial complex, and an operation code-named Gladio.

Those with autism or Asperger’s syndrome are often misunderstood. We welcome Janet Lintala (www.loveautismhealth.com), Founder of Autism Health!, who shares her journey as a parent and her work with non-prescriptive solutions to help those on the spectrum.

John’s quote of the week:
“The real issue most concerning is the one that most people don’t want to address – the idea that a utilitarian will of an all-powerful state trumps the religious and moral consciences of the people of that state. This is truly dangerous territory.”
