In any situation, including the recent Iraqi embassy attack and subsequent deadly drone strike, you have to ask yourself what is true and what is going on. In this week’s boralogue, John busts through some narratives and gives a backgrounder on the Middle East and the groups that have arisen from there. It sets the table for our next guest and gives you a clear and realistic picture of how we got to what happened last week.

Now that we know how we got here, we can look at the now former leader of Iran’s Quds Force, Qassem Soleimani, who was taken out with a drone strike last week. Back with us is Kenneth Timmerman (www.iran.org), President and CEO of the Foundation for Democracy in Iran, who describes the truth of who Soleimani was, what he was involved in, and where Iran goes from here.

Christopher RufoWhat happens when a radical progressive idea, seemingly outlandish, begins to gain traction in serious circles? Christopher Rufo (www.city-journal.org), Contributing Editor at City Journal, joins us to examine the Abolish the Police movement, showing that if it were ever to come to pass, crime and inequality would only deepen.

Education is the key to why we are so divided in America, but it is also being used to radically reform the country. Robert Steven Ingebo, (www.americanthinker.com) Akron, Ohio-based businessman, joins us to look at Deep Equity, a progressive-based reform program that relies heavily on buzzwords like intersectionality, diversity, and changing of norms. It’s the newest version of a formalized teaching system designed to transform our society.

John’s quote of the week:
Everything that you are hearing about the Middle East is being seen through the lens of the leftist media, these spinners of stories, to match their Western narratives, which are divorced from the reality of what’s happening on the ground.

On this week’s extra segment, we play a double feature. You might recognize our first interview (as we played it for you here last summer), but it’s still pertinent and deserves an encore presentation. James Hutchens from June 2012 is up first followed by Reza Kahlili from January 2015, both covering Iran.

Takes Two to Tangle

Every Steel on Steel show features the phrase “the herd’s almost always running in the wrong direction.” In this week’s boralogue, John looks at the need to separate from the herd and think for yourself. Always do what is right, even in times of trouble. Do not be led down the slippery slope of idealism that has firmly entrenched itself into our society. Doing what is right isn’t always easy but it is always needed.

It’s time for John’s annual rant against taxes and who better to rant with than tax expert and owner of Tax Help Online Dan Pilla (www.taxhelponline.com)? John and Dan discuss the tactics of auditors and how to fight back against them, as well as a new artificial intelligence program the IRS is using to better identify sources of income – which would raise even more money for the government.

The Middle East is complicated as is its relations with other areas of the world. Ken Timmerman (www.iran.org), President of the Foundation for Democracy in Iran, examines the geopolitics between Iran and Europe, the effectiveness of President Trump’s policies in the region, and the current situation with the Kurds and Syria.

Finally, John looks further at the Middle East, specifically the so-called Peace Process and the events of the past decade, including President Obama’s destabilizing actions and President Trump’s attempts to clean up the mess. There are important things happening, but the media will either falsely report on it or completely ignore it all together. To give you a clear picture, you need Steel on Steel.

John’s quote of the week:
“Anyone who succeeds and says, ‘I can do this and that and I don’t need to listen to you,’ that’s where the criticism gets vicious because it ruptures the dependency narrative and shows it to be false. That endangers the money flow, the ideology flow, and the political flow.”

In this week’s Extras segment, we first play a brief boralogue from 2017 where John explains how the tax system really works. Then we transition to the first 30 minutes of a speech John gave about critical thinking entitled ‘Critical Thinking in an Age of Deceit‘. The complete speech is available in our Media Store for $19.99, or free of charge in the Veritas Lounge for Premium members. Learn more.

Me and My Shadow Government

Login to access this full program.

170011 03/18/2017

What are the crises plaguing America today? If you follow the media, the answer is Russian collusion, wiretapping, and tax returns. In this week’s boralogue, John looks at the real looming crises we face including an economy plagued by unsustainable borrowing and courts ruling according to politics and not the rule of law. But fear not – God is ultimately in control.

Deep State operatives inside the U.S. government still loyal to former president Obama are doing their best to sabotage current president Donald Trump. Kenneth Timmerman (www.iran.org), President and CEO of the Foundation for Democracy in Iran, joins us to discuss classified leaks and other problems caused by those wreaking havoc on this administration.

Diving deeper into shadow governments, we welcome retired business owner and director at the Claremont Institute Robert Curry (www.claremont.org) who examines the history of the Deep State and its opposition to the Constitution and what President Trump is doing to fight the problem.

Communication is key when you are President and for Donald Trump extremely difficult when the media as a whole is your adversary. Monty Donohew (www.donohew.com), Attorney at Monty L. Donohew, LPA explains how President Trump is reforming political communication by flipping the press’s Alinsky methods back at them, exposing them as hacks who have severely underestimated him.

John’s quote of the week:
“Here’s a hint that you can tell when you’re entering the end game: when politicians start playing the blame game, it means we have finally plowed to the end of a problem which they have created for which they don’t have any solution and disaster will be upon us.”

This week during our Section 6 intelligence briefing, John discusses Andrew Jackson and the history of our financial system.
