During the recent climate talks in Paris, the man most responsible for creating the climate change hysteria, Maurice Strong, passed away. In this week’s boralogue, John looks back at Strong’s motivations to establish a one-world government and how he used climate change to do that. He also looks at how those in power will say what is needed in order to maneuver the herd, while behind the scenes, they increase their power. Remember, when it comes to the powers that be, you should always look at what they do and not at what they say.

We continue our thread this week on gene editing and manipulation, welcoming to the show Philippa Taylor (www.cmf.org.uk), Head of Public Policy at Christian Medical Fellowship in the UK. She examines the battle between manipulating genes in order to prevent diseases versus the ethical concerns and safety to humans, as well as how scientists seem to jump into experiments rather than researching properly first.

Europe is ahead of the U.S. when it comes to political correctness and its response to Muslim immigration. Can we learn anything from this? Michel Gurfinkiel (www.michelgurfinkiel.com), Founder and President of the Jean-Jacques Rousseau Institute in France, joins us to discuss the different types of Muslims in France, a surprising surge of support for ISIS among young Muslims, the comparisons between Islamists and anti-Semites today, and how America can learn from France and begin taking seriously the issue of immigration.

John finishes up this week with thoughts on the Fed raising the prime interest rate.

John’s quote of the week:
“As the herd runs in the wrong direction, don’t run with it. But don’t get trampled by it either.”

Congress has voted to change Social Security in an effort they say will save the government money. In this week’s boralogue, John shows that it will actually lessen the amount seniors receive by limiting their options. This begins the great reneging, where promises collide with reality. Money being poured into social programs will go toward servicing our unmanageable debt. As we count down to Election Day 2016, remember that whoever is in office when the powder keg blows will receive the blame.

Eliminating disease during fertilization that will result in a healthy child sounds good in theory. But are we gene slicing off more than we can handle? Molecular biologist technologist Rebecca Taylor (www.marymeetsdolly.com), examines the emergence of three-parent offspring and the dangerous pace of human genetic testing. This could lead to human-designed babies that are smarter, faster, and stronger, but will they still be human?

We reported over the summer that several government agency databases were hacked and personal information compromised. Joining us this week is Bartlett Cleland (www.ipi.org), Research Fellow with the Institute for Policy Innovation, who discusses the Cyber Security Information Sharing Act and how inter-agency sharing could lead to a majority of American citizens with government profiles.

Who could oppose the Muslim Leadership Initiative plan to allow Muslims to better understand Jews and Israel? Answer: the Boycott, Divest, and Sanctions (BDS) movement. Cinnamon Stillwell (www.campus-watch.org), West Coast Representative of Campus Watch, reveals the source behind BDS’s opposition to this program and shows the difficulty students face with political activist teachers.

Remember: Truth is hate speech only to those people who hate the truth.

The Nature of Being Human

A key issue during the election campaign was stem cell research, along with engineering of human DNA and human cloning. We seem to be sliding rapidly into a new eugenics, where designer humans will be produced, while the rest will be told they have a “duty to die.”
Even splicing animal DNA into new hybrid humans is being contemplated. Wesley Smith, fellow with the Discovery Institute in Seattle (www.wesleyjsmith.com and www.discovery.org) speaks to the issue.

It seems the elections are indicating that many Christians are disgruntled with being pushed out of the marketplace of ideas. Ted Byfield from the Christian History Project in Canada (www.christianhistoryproject.com) discusses the training of intellectual combatants.

John’s boralogue executes a postmortem on the elections and soberly considers that Republicans will most likely be holding the bag when any number of economic and other crises begin to unravel as the perfect economic storm approaches. We could see a Democratic landslide in 2008.
