We are skipping the boralogue on this Labor Day weekend and diving right into the show with our first guest. Dan Gainor (www.mrc.org), Vice President of Business and Culture at Media Research Center, compares the Left’s attempts today at revising our history with Mao’s Cultural Revolution in the 1960s.

Continuing our series on free speech, Edmund Kozak (www.lifezette.com), political reporter with Lifezette, joins us to discuss censorship against conservatives by Facebook and Twitter and whether Google’s immense size qualifies it as a public utility.

Can Islam integrate into Western culture? Award-winning journalist and television producer Christine Douglass-Williams (www.jihadwatch.org) looks at Islam’s struggle between modernizing and retaining sharia law, and the West’s inability to discuss the issue due to political correctness.

Journalistic credibility, already at an historic low, took another hit this week. Curtis Houck (www.newsbusters.org), Managing Editor of NewsBusters, reports that after a Wall Street Journal editor asked his reporters to write fair, opinion-free stories, the New York Times and other leftists expressed outrage. Of course they did.

John’s quote of the week:
“There was an article in the New York Times and the author noted that hate speech was the same as physical violence and therefore we need to treat it that way. Do you realize that if we had had that same litmus test in this country, we never would have had an American revolution? We never would have had a country.”

Our Section 6 intelligence brief is taking Labor Day off, but John will be back next week with more analysis on important stories highlighting emerging geopolitical trends around the world.

If the youth of today do not respect the laws and rights of this country, what will the United States look like in the future? In this week’s boralogue, John ties together several recent events and shows that there is a time and a place for rationed debate and decorum, but millennials are not being taught this. When arrogance and ignorance of laws and rights are allowed to flourish, totalitarianism isn’t far behind.

Fake news abounds but from where does it originate? William Jeynes (www.cslbu.edu), Professor of Education at Cal State Long Beach, looks at revisionist or fake history propagated by the ideologies of media and academia, its Communist and Marxist roots, and how homeschooling could be the best way to fight against it.

While the press created their own fake narrative of President Trump’s “bumbling” Middle East and European trip, those who were actually there tell a different story. William Koenig (www.watch.org), Head of World Watch Daily and traveler on this trip, discusses the media coverage, the positive relationships forged and the reset of U.S. foreign policy to one of strength and leadership.

John’s quote of the week:
“If the people are behaving the way they do by disrespecting law, institutions, and the basic rights guaranteed under law, how do you think these people will behave once they assume power in the country? You see, ignorance and arrogance together spell totalitarianism.”

Coming up on this week’s Section 6 Intelligence Briefing, John addresses more on Trump’s Middle East trip, the ideological differences facing us in the U.S., Socialism, wars in U.S. history, and Multiculturalism. It’s gonna be packed!

Happy Memorial Day weekend. We wish everyone a safe and festive weekend and offer up prayers to those who have served or who are currently serving in our military and their families.

We will forego the boralogue this week and jump right in with our first guest, historian Dr. Dennis Cuddy (www.newswithviews.com), who discusses the slow Marxist influence in our schools over the past several years and how the power elites today are taking advantage of this failing education system by stifling free speech and redefining both history and moral values.

How has racism in the United States gotten to the point where only some lives matter? David Horowitz (www.horowitzfreedomcenter.org), Chairman of the Horowitz Freedom Center, joins us to examine racism according to the progressive Left and the hijacking of the civil rights movement.

John’s quote of the week:
“These ideas, these tactics are nothing new. They were used by Hitler; they were used by Stalin. We must stand up, fight against them, and continue to tell the truth.”

There will be no Section 6 intelligence briefing this week as we take some time off for Memorial Day, but the segment will return next week.
