Reforming Backward

Login to access this full program.

In order to reform, a country and its leaders must be willing and ready to do so. In this week’s boralogue, John looks at the failure of socialism in Venezuela and its creeping rise in America. Reform is needed in both countries but how that shakes out, who will relentlessly fight against it, and whether or not it will be successful remains to be seen. Reformation is a double-edged sword: hopefully America will choose the correct way to do it.

We have asked before if Islam can be reformed. This week, we seek the answer from a former Iranian Muslim who has converted to Christianity. Shahram Hadian (, Founder of the Truth in Love Project, is back with us to discuss the history of Islam, ways to combat those who shout, ‘Islamophobe!’, and how Islam is actually reforming – just backward to its origins.

Fresh from his trip to Pennsylvania, John welcomes his fellow conference presenter Pastor Robert Johnessee ( who is the Church Ministries Representative at the Friends of Israel. Pastor Johnessee recounts his experience with those who are trying to influence the church with PC narratives and how to bridge the gap between two ideological sides.

John finishes up the show this week giving a brief and sobering persecution update.

John’s quote of the week:
“Reformers, even though the need is obvious to many many people, meet tremendous opposition because the system and its corruption have benefited many many people. Those are the swamp critters and they love the warmth and the rottenness that corruption has brought them. They are not going to go along with reform.”

In this week’s Extras segment, we fire up the way back machine to an interview from February 2015 where John speaks with Bill Federer. He gives a history of Islam throughout the Middle East and Europe and how it has affected several key events in history.

We’re under attack from the “comma buts.” Welcome to Steel on Steel. In John’s boralogue this week, he exposes the hypocrisy of the politically correct elites and their views on free speech. “Freedom of speech is OK – comma but – only if you think the way we do.” We should have the right to express beliefs and ideas that our opponents may find controversial. This PC think is a deadly virus and it’s time we begin quarantining it. I will not sit down. I will not shut up!

The burning alive of the Jordanian pilot by ISIS has dominated the news in the past week. We welcome to the program Dr. Stephen Kirby (, retired Los Angeles Police Department investigator, who explores the history of Islam, recounting events and examining Islamic principles as it relates to the burning alive of apostate Muslims and non-Muslims.

Dr. Grazie Pozo Christie (, a diagnostic radiologist in Miami, Florida, discusses free speech and the case of Kelvin Cochran, former Fire Chief of the Atlanta Fire Department, who was fired after his self-published book advocated traditional Biblical marriage between a man and a woman.

Rounding out the program this week, Anita Hoge (, national speaker and educational consultant and researcher, examines the history of education in America, Common Core, and the dangers of collecting personally identifiable information on children.
