How does one discern truth in the age of fake news? Departing from the norm, Producer Steve takes over the mike for this week’s snoozalogue (don’t worry John will be back for the rest of the show), looking at ways to recognize truth whenever mainstream news pundits give you a fake story. All it takes is hard work and determination. And maybe a little prayer.

Back at the helm, John welcomes Linda Harvey (, Founder of Mission America, who continues our discussion on education unions after the Janus decision and how the NEA looks out for itself and for teachers, but not for children.

Why is it so difficult for Islam to assimilate with Western culture? Robert Spencer (, Director of Jihad Watch, contrasts gender equality and free speech, bastions of the West, with traditional Islamic ideals and discusses the history of jihad.

The uproar continues over Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court. David Harsanyi (, Senior Editor at The Federalist, examines why leftists who oppose Judge Kavanaugh are more afraid of the Constitution than the man tasked with upholding it.

Understanding the past helps predict and possibly prevent calamity in the future. Stephen Halbrook (, Senior Fellow at the Independent Institute, analyzes gun registration and confiscation in France just prior to Hitler’s takeover and asks the question: what would gun confiscation look like if it were implemented in today’s America?

Finally, longtime guest and friend of the program Avi Lipkin ( joins us to reveal Israel’s new Bible Bloc Party, a political group he founded to give Christians, a growing population in Israel, representation in the Knesset.

John’s quote of the week:
Gun registration almost always precedes gun confiscation. The real question is what happens after that? The people today who are screaming for more gun regulations are the very same voices that tell us our rights to free speech and other rights don’t count.

Section 6 In this week’s Section 6, we play an interview John gave on Stand Up For The Truth on Q90FM in Wisconsin recently. John discusses the frenetic downfall of the leftist ideology as well as President Trump’s complicated and intertwined global negotiations. He goes on to look at truth and relativism in today’s world and building your worldview on rock, not sand.

We have always urged you to pray for Christians who are being persecuted for their faith around the world. John relates in his boralogue a few examples of Christian leaders or congregants who are either blindsided by violence or face death for their choice of faith. In Pakistan, a mob looted homes and attempted to burn a church after a mentally challenged Christian man was alleged to have burned a copy of the Quran. An Ethiopian man was ordered to kill two Christian pastors or his children would die. From Sudan to Nigeria to India and beyond, persecution of Christians is on the rise. They need our prayers.

If someone cheats a little, do you call them on it? Or do you continue turning a blind eye as the cheating persists? Iran is cheating and the U.S. is doing nothing about it. Shoshana Bryen (, Senior Director at the Jewish Policy Center, reveals that Iran is end running our nuclear agreement by attempting to enrich uranium without the use of centrifuges. She also examines the Vatican’s recognition of a Palestinian State, which is less favorable to the Palestinians than many think and is probably more of an effort to defend the rights of Christians in the Middle East, or Palestine at least.

When it comes to the U.S. embassy attack in Benghazi in 2012, the hardball questions still remain unanswered. Arnold Ahlert (, op-ed writer for Front Page Magazine, explores the connection between Benghazi and Syria, cover ups by the Obama administration, and how Hilary Clinton’s many scandals may affect her chances in next year’s presidential election.

If you attempt to bring Christians, Jews, and Muslims together in a spirit of love and tolerance, is it really possible when one group’s core belief involves hatred toward the other two? We welcome back to the program retired LAPD officer and instructor Dr. Stephen Kirby ( to examine the Omaha Tri-Faith Initiative and its pledge to heal religious differences. It is permissible for Muslims to lie and pretend to get along with people from other faiths, but “progressive” Muslims don’t adhere to that. When faced with either duplicity or a false doctrine of Islam, is it really a tri-faith initiative?
