In literature, narratives are often fiction. In both the mainstream media and politics, narratives exhibit the same fictitious nature. In this week’s boralogue, John gives several examples of how the media and politicos have failed to tell the truth lately, including with the gun rights rally in Virginia, with anthropogenic global warming, and with Attorney General William Barr. It turns out you can make this stuff up – and it shows us their true intentions.

Manda ErvinIran is a hot topic in the news but one aspect not covered by the media is how women have been treated there. Manda Zand Ervin (www.allianceofiranianwomen.org), Founder and President of the Alliance of Iranian Women, joins us to recount how Iranian women, who were being oppressed by the mullahs, established a secret underground network in order to survive. Much of this information can be found in her new book, The Ladies’ Secret Society of Iran.

It’s time for a Middle East geopolitical update so we welcome an expert on the subject, Seth Frantzman (www.sethfrantzman.com), Middle East Affairs Analyst at the Jerusalem Post. He examines a deal between Turkey and Russia to partition Libya, an oil pipeline from the region to Eastern Europe, and the interactions between Turkey, Syria, and the Kurds.

John and Producer Steve spend a few moments dissecting an opinion piece from the Harvard Law Review that advocates for end-running the Constitution in an attempt to add amendments that would not only give permanent legislative power to liberals but would also ultimately endanger the Republic itself.

John finishes out the show this week with a news story roundup, relating stories from around the world. Included are the impending Brexit, a disastrous new economic plan in Spain, trouble in China regarding the Catholic Church, and several examples of Christian persecution.

John’s quote of the week:
If the people cannot operate on the basis of their conscience and their convicted values and beliefs, what will act as a judge upon the government when the government itself goes corrupt? And governments, believe me, will go corrupt.

On this week’s extra segment, it’s a quadruple feature as we play four interviews from 2014, 2015, and 2016 with Iraqi Christian Relief Council President Juliana Taimoorazy. She recounts the problems and tragedies involving Christians in Iraq from ISIS’s persecution to their troubles with the UN regarding refugee status. With Iraq in the news lately, it’s important to remember those who are suffering for their faith there (and around the world).

Willful Blindness

There are blips on the world stage radar that are projecting what we’ll see in the months and years to come. In this week’s boralogue, John takes a look at what these blips are telling us and shows that there is a willful blindness concerning global ideologies. There is a chasm of truth between the realities of the world and both politicians’ promises and politically correct narratives. Those who understand the realities will be better positioned when the coming storms hit.

Why did Libya suddenly appear on the world stage a few years ago as a threat to world security? Ellen Brown (www.ellenbrown.com), Founder of the Public Banking Institute, reveals that the upheaval in Libya related to gold and silver, rebel-based central banks, and details from Hilary Clinton’s emails.

The Christ at the Checkpoint Conference concluded this week in Bethlehem in the West Bank. Dexter Van Zile (www.camera.org), Christian Media Analyst for the Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting, attended the conference and discusses its anti-Zionist narrative that blames Israel for all wrongs in the current conflict with Palestine.

John Kerry and the State Department declared this week that Christian persecution by ISIS in the Middle East is officially deemed genocide. Juliana Taimoorazy (www.iraqichristianrelief.org), President of the Iraqi Christian Relief Council, examines the situation and asks: why did it take so long for this declaration to come about?

How did the U.S. get to the point of self-loathing and history revision that casts itself in such a negative light? Former Idaho State legislator Curtis Bowers (www.agendadocumentary.com) joins us to reveal Marxism for what it truly is and discuss the willful blindness of those that fall victim to its false narrative. We need to hear and understand the truth or the enemy will win.

John’s quote of the week:
“Gramscian Marxism paraded through our culture starting in the 1930s, masquerading often as progressivism – sometimes it’s called socialism – and all of those “isms” are pretty much the same thing. We keep changing the names to protect the guilty. It fails every time you turn around.”

Ethiopian Christians were killed by ISIS this week in Libya. Could that butchery be headed across the Atlantic? We jump into the fray this week with Chris Farrell (www.judicialwatch.org), Director of Investigations & Research for Judicial Watch. He discusses the legitimacy of ISIS staging areas a few miles across the U.S.-Mexico border near Juarez.

Expanding on this, Retired INS Special Agent Michael Cutler (www.michaelcutler.net) rejoins us on the program and uncovers critical problems with immigration procedures. ISIS on our southern borders is a serious issue, but terrorists have already set up shop inside the U.S., thanks in part to questionable enforcement policies.

We hear “Bush lied, people died.” Do we hear the same about Hilary Clinton when it comes to Benghazi? Daniel Greenfield (www.frontpagemag.com), Shillman Journalism Fellow with the David Horowitz Freedom Center, examines the Libyan war and looks at anti-U.S. bias from the left that is designed to weaken America and give strength to its enemies.

This past Sunday, April 19, marked the 20th anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing. Even after two decades, there are questions that remain unanswered. Independent researcher Dr. Wendy Painting (www.lonewolfresearch.com) explores not only the theory that Timothy McVeigh acted as a lone wolf terrorist, but also the possibility that undercover government agents were involved.

Our weekly intelligence news briefing, Section 6!

Join us for our Section 6 intelligence briefing, featuring analysis by John on important stories highlighting emerging geopolitical trends around the world. This week, John takes an extensive look at the background of Islam, the differences between Shia and Sunni sects, and the current proxy wars involving Islamic countries.
