Red Herring

We’re down to the wire in the U.S. election. Who will win? Have we learned anything from the onslaught of leaked emails? In this week’s boralogue, John shows that politics is a blood sport, candidates will say anything to get elected, and often issues take a backseat to mudslinging. The emails have revealed long-term agendas, but false narratives and red herrings are pushed on us by elites and those in the media to distract us from what’s really important.

What is really important to the American voter? We welcome back retired INS Special Agent Michael Cutler (www.michaelcutler.net), who discusses media manipulation, multiple Hillary Clinton scandals, how federal agents really work, and the positives and negatives of our immigration policies.

The Oslo Peace Accords were signed in September 1993 but has it brought about peace? Efraim Karsh (www.meforum.org), Director of the Middle East Forum, joins us from Finland to discuss the land and people of Palestine before and after the Accords and looks at the history of Israel and the Palestinian state through the 20th century.

John’s quote of the week:
“Anything else we learned from the emails? Yes, very important: the horrible elitist disdain that the in-crowd establishment in Washington looks at the rest of us – we are just a nasty inconvenience every two to four years that has to be dealt with so they can get back to business as usual.”

As always, join us online for our Section 6 intelligence briefing featuring analysis by John on important stories highlighting emerging geopolitical trends around the world.

The Rules Don’t Apply

Do you suffer from PCT – progressive collective thinking? Probably not if you’re listening to Steel on Steel! In this week’s extended boralogue, John looks at the symptoms of PCT and dissects an audio clip of an anti-Trump supporter that shows perfectly PCT at work. When progressives don’t follow the rules they themselves set up, they then claim they don’t need them.

Group-think and liberalism have grown to the point where they have now seeped into nearly every facet or our daily lives. Dr. Kim Holmes (www.heritage.org), former Assistant Secretary of State for International Affairs joins us to discuss the origins of liberalism and how its adherents have spun completely around in their views on free speech and tolerance. The result is a new morality.

Immigration and visa fraud have been found in the investigation of the participants in the San Bernardino terror attack. Returning to the program is retired INS special agent Michael Cutler (www.michaelcutler.net), who examines the problems stemming from current immigration policies and the U.S. government’s unwillingness to solve them and shows how it impacts not only national security but also economics and drug trafficking.

John’s quote of the week:
“When it’s in their favor, progressive activists will try to use law or rules to force their ideas on their opposition. But when those laws or rules go against what they wish to do, they will roll their eyes heavenward and say that this is an unjust law and we follow a higher moral law – which, by the way, they tend to invent as they need it.”

Have We Learned?

When a tragedy happens, it’s best to get at the truth behind it and work to prevent a re occurrence. In this week’s boralogue, John ties together numerous stories from the past few decades and shows that to get at that truth you need to ask the hard questions. Time and again, answers and effective solutions are thwarted by the politically correct mantra of the day. We must learn from history or we are doomed to repeat it.

This week marks the 14th anniversary of the September 11 attacks and we remember the victims and the heroes who died that awful day and thank them for their sacrifice. A decade and a half later, are we making the same political errors we made prior to 9/11? The question we have to ask is: have we learned from our mistakes? Joining us this week to answer these questions are Michael Cutler (www.michaelcutler.net), Retired Special Agent with the former Immigration and Naturalization Services, and Dan Gordon (www.dayofthedeadlibertyedition.com), Captain in the Israeli Defense Forces.

With another terror attack looming on the horizon, is the United States doing all it can to prevent this from happening? We learn that it may be déjà vu all over again as corruption has increased between Mexican cartel members and border agents, Iran has sleeper cells ready to attack at a moment’s notice, and U.S. immigration policies have kowtowed to political correctness, allowing thousands to cross our borders with nothing more than a rubber stamp of approval. We cannot afford to ignore security measures proposed after 2001.

For the past few weeks, we have highlighted the need for ordinary people to do extraordinary things. This week, we welcome Pastor Dave Witt (www.spiritofmartyrdom.com), Founder of Spirit of Martyrdom Ministries, who explains the difference between Christian and Islamic martyrs and shows that he is just one man making a difference for Christ in this world. We can do it too.

Our weekly Section 6 intelligence briefing returns this week featuring analysis by John on important stories highlighting emerging geopolitical trends around the world. This week, John takes a closer look at the global impact of China’s economy.

Ethiopian Christians were killed by ISIS this week in Libya. Could that butchery be headed across the Atlantic? We jump into the fray this week with Chris Farrell (www.judicialwatch.org), Director of Investigations & Research for Judicial Watch. He discusses the legitimacy of ISIS staging areas a few miles across the U.S.-Mexico border near Juarez.

Expanding on this, Retired INS Special Agent Michael Cutler (www.michaelcutler.net) rejoins us on the program and uncovers critical problems with immigration procedures. ISIS on our southern borders is a serious issue, but terrorists have already set up shop inside the U.S., thanks in part to questionable enforcement policies.

We hear “Bush lied, people died.” Do we hear the same about Hilary Clinton when it comes to Benghazi? Daniel Greenfield (www.frontpagemag.com), Shillman Journalism Fellow with the David Horowitz Freedom Center, examines the Libyan war and looks at anti-U.S. bias from the left that is designed to weaken America and give strength to its enemies.

This past Sunday, April 19, marked the 20th anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing. Even after two decades, there are questions that remain unanswered. Independent researcher Dr. Wendy Painting (www.lonewolfresearch.com) explores not only the theory that Timothy McVeigh acted as a lone wolf terrorist, but also the possibility that undercover government agents were involved.
