Does the U.S. have a good legacy or a bad legacy? The answer is ‘yes.’ In this week’s boralogue, John asks – was the American experiment actually worth it? We have freedom and rights and prosperity in this country and that has enabled a group of people today to condemn freedom and rights and prosperity. America has been through a lot and that process is the reason why we are the greatest nation in the world today. It’s tragic that certain people want to destroy that.

Elisabeth Sabaditsch-WolffThe battle for the future is the battle for free speech, but that battle is being lost in Europe. Free speech activist and author Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff (www.encountertruth.com) joins us to discuss her experience with the politically correct speech police in Europe when she was vilified for speaking actual facts about Islam. She asserts that America must battle to keep freedom, because when it fails here, it fails worldwide.

John takes a moment to give an update on the Middle East, focusing on Iran and the amping up of their nuclear program as well as their strategy to geographically box in Israel, presumably in preparation for a future attack.

Avi AbelowGiving a perspective from inside Israel, Avi Abelow, CEO of 12 Tribes Films, (www.israelunwired.com) joins us to defend Israel from untrue attacks from the liberal Left and discuss how supporting Israel is the right thing for peace in the region because Israel sits on the front line of freedom in the Middle East.

John’s quote of the week:
What made our experiment in the West different than everywhere else? We began to see value in each individual human being as a creature of God. That we have certain unalienable rights granted to us by God. That the purpose of government is to defend those rights, to protect those rights, and to not violate them.

In this week’s Extras segment, it’s a double feature showing the worldview battle we find ourselves in today. From September 2013, we play an interview with Jim Simpson on the Left’s Cloward-Piven strategy. Then we transition to a June 2012 interview with Darrow Miller on the need to get back to our Judeo-Christian foundation if we are going to win this battle in the West.

Economics is one leg of the geopolitical stool. In this week’s boralogue, John looks at financial indicators and raises a red flag watch on our economy. David McAlvany and Kevin Orrick from McAlvany Weekly Commentary discuss how we are overdue for a recession, and though the economy continues to hum along, indicators are pointing to a likely recession in 2020. How will it affect the election? We’ll have to wait and see.

Myron MagnetIn our continuing series on the Constitution and the founding freedoms of America, we welcome to the program Myron Magnet (www.city-journal.org), Editor-at-Large at City Journal, who examines Clarence Thomas’ efforts in establishing reform in the U.S. judiciary, and looks at the battle between originalists and those who believe in a living, breathing document in interpreting the Constitution. Read Myron Magnet’s Imprimis article ‘Clarence Thomas and the Lost Constitution‘ at Hillsdale College.

Ken TimmermanIt’s time for a Middle East Update and who better to give it than Ken Timmerman (www.iran.org), President of Foundation for Democracy in Iran? He discusses the geopolitical link between Syria, Iran, and Israel as well as tense NATO allies Turkey and the U.S. Is the stage being set for an end times battle against Israel?

John and Producer Steve round out the show covering the Deep State and the latest impeachment effort. Reform is needed and government should be pared down. The President has control of foreign policy, but those in Congress and the Deep State who disagree with that policy are attempting to oust the President via impeachment.

John’s quote of the week:
Economically, are we healthy or are we not? Yes, the economy is buzzing along, but if you look at the underlying fundamentals, there are serious structural problems with the global financial system. It, like our government, is going to have to be reformed at some point.

KYMSIn this week’s Extras segment, we play John’s most recent appearance on KYMS, a local north Idaho radio station, and his monthly martyred church update. He and host Lee Lancaster discuss other topics, including freedom of speech, who gets to determine what hate speech is, and the tendency to compromise parts of the Constitution. They also look at important tidbits such as where on the globe Burkina Faso is located!

The news is aflutter lately about all sorts of scandals and bad behavior. Should we care? In this week’s boralogue John looks at the battle between stupid news and news that matters, playing a clip of Don Coxe, who illustrates the need for more focus on important, sobering topics. It’s difficult to solve serious problems when no one is looking at them.

How ready are we should a foreign power come up against us? Bill Gertz (www.gertzfile.com), Senior Editor at the Washington Free Beacon, discusses other countries’ willingness to beef up their warfare capabilities, while the U.S. government remains focused on other issues and is not keeping pace.

A national database with all of one’s information is popular in China and other countries. Could it emerge in the U.S.? National education analyst and writer Dr. Carole Haynes (www.drcarolehhaynes.com) joins us to discuss Congressional bills that would establish these databases and the ignorance of lawmakers to see what’s really going on.

On October 31, a terrorist mowed down pedestrians in New York City. He was in this country under the Diversity Visa Program. Michael Cutler (www.michaelcutler.net), Retired Special Agent with the former Immigration and Naturalization Services, looks at the flaws of the program and what needs to be done to solve the problem.

John’s quote of the week:
“The country is now divided: two different groups of people with two different worldviews using two different processes of thought based on two different worldview assumptions arriving at two different sets of conclusions – all yelling and screaming and bickering over control. Meanwhile, big storms are brewing around us.”

In our Section 6 intelligence brief: Tax Bill Analysis (Rates, Exemptions, and Deductions). Problems in high tax states and the impending migration away from those states. Status Update in the Middle East: (Sunni-Israel alliance against Iran, Hezbollah-Syria moves to set up bases, control of the Sinai). Non-integration by immigrants in Europe. How to spot what’s really going on behind the scenes with globalism. We round out the show with an update on the Trinity Western case.
