Lack of journalistic standards has shown a light on a bigger problem: intersectionality. In this week’s boralogue, John looks at how the clanging and banging of intersectionality and its attempted adherence to social justice has left real people, like the Covington High School kids, in its wake. Intersectionality and its media acolytes are pointing to the self-destructing foundation of a dying belief system.

Globalism has been on a steady rise for decades, but how has it become popular? Researcher and author Carl Teichrib (www.gameofgods.ca) describes how dynamic speakers tell us we all need to work together, eschewing sovereignty, to save the planet, all while disguising a hatred for Christianity and a love of paganism.

John takes a moment to dissect a speech given by Walter Cronkite in 1999 upon accepting a global governance award. Cronkite advocated for more global rule and less sovereignty. John notes that ousting sovereignty will never fly with many countries so the idea of global governance would never work. That, it seems, is the way it is.

It’s a unique time in the Middle East as several events and issues are coming together. Seth Frantzman (www.jpost.com), Op-Ed Editor for the Jerusalem Post gives us an on the ground perspective from Israel, examining the generational change in leadership of several Middle East nations, how Israel is faring, and the formation of unlikely alliances.

John and Steve wrap up the program this week discussing the epidemic of false assault claims, the media’s response to them, and President Trump’s emergency declaration in regards to border security and the wall.

John’s quote of the week:
“When we go through these three stages – traditional, transitional, and transformational – the middle stage which we are in right now is a big blurry. It’s very hard for people to tell what’s happening, where they’ve come from, and where they’re going. And they don’t realize that major changes are underway.”

In this week’s Extras segment, John is still under the weather so we are charging up the way back machine again and playing an interview from 2014 with Os Guinness. He and John discuss Christianity and how it always provides answers, even during times of trouble, and has always proved wrong those who think it dead.

Much like Yellowstone of late, America’s economic arena is experiencing a swarm of quakes that serve as a warning to us all. In this week’s boralogue, John looks at what these quakes mean and where we are heading. Between the fake news camped out in Russia collusion land and the Fed stating that all is well, you would think our economy’s future is just fine. Tough times are ahead, but God will guide each of us through it.

In late June, a van plowed into a group of Muslims outside of a London mosque, stirring up terms like ‘payback’ and ‘white jihad.’ Dr. Dawn Perlmutter (www.symbolintelligence.com), Director of Symbol Intelligence Group, examines the roots of white jihad and the growing resentment that fuels it. White jihad is a problem, but it hasn’t yet risen to the horrific levels of its Islamic counterpart.

The former administration’s EPA redefined the word ‘navigable’ in the Waters of the U.S. Act, thereby expanding its jurisdiction. Dr. Bonner Cohen (www.nationalcenter.org), Senior Fellow at the National Center for Public Policy Research, discusses the immense bureaucratic power of the EPA and the abuses stemming from it, and praises President Trump for rolling back some of that power.

You cannot defend the truth if you do not know the truth. Mike LeMay (www.standupforthetruth.com), General Manager of Q90 FM Radio in Wisconsin, shows the steady decline of Christian thought in the West and the erosion of moral standards taught in schools and at church.

Finally, we look at Christian persecution around the world with Paula Kweskin (www.faithkeepersmovie.com), Producer of Clarion Project’s film Faithkeepers. She points out that media is largely silent on Christian persecution but there are ways you and I can help.

John’s quote of the week:
We are at the endgame of all excessive taxation and inflation because they promise so many goodies to so many people that they can’t stop paying it. Once you’re on this deep debt train, you can’t get off until the train goes violently off the rails. This is the point where governments become rapacious and start taxing and seizing anything they possibly can just to keep the game going.”

This week on Section 6, John covers inflation in the U.S. economy, ever failing climate predictions, Catholics vs Evangelicals, and the hierarchy of multicultural classes.

We offer our prayers and support to the family and friends of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia who passed away last week. His death has stirred up a political firestorm as to who the next appointee will be. In this week’s boralogue, John takes a look at what the Constitution says, how it’s interpreted, and the dangers of judicial activism in the country’s highest court. Does the law mean what it says or does it mean what the elites want it to mean right now?

We then shift gears as John analyzes a recent report from Russia’s newspaper, Pravda, detailing a high-level meeting between Vladimir Putin and Henry Kissinger. Worldwide financial systems may be coming to an end soon. Make ready the chessboard as international players begin jockey for position. Where will the United States land?

Egypt, a strategic player on our global chessboard, is uniquely positioned in Middle East affairs. Joining us this week is Raymond Stock (www.meforum.org), Instructor of Arabic at Louisiana State University and former resident of Egypt, who discusses the country’s succession of leadership in the past seven years and its relationship with Israel and with the Islamists who thirst for control.

Finally, we swing to China and the hundreds of millions of Christians who reside there. Elizabeth Kendal (www.elizabethkendal.com), Adjunct Research Fellow at Melbourne School of Theology, exposes the rarely reported persecution of Christians by the Communists party in China and the slow global infiltration of Marxist ideology into schools, media, and entertainment.

John’s quote of the week:
“In the ongoing environment of redefinition, the courts are discovering all sorts of ‘new’ rights in the Constitution that are created out of thin air. New rights trump old established rights, which are clearly established in the Constitution. If the law doesn’t mean what it says, does it mean anything at all?”

What is truth? In this week’s boralogue, Johns examines church members who are claiming to be Christians but don’t believe in Christ and atheist ministers who still want to lead their church congregations. Why be part of a belief system you don’t believe in? There is such a thing as absolute truth, even for those who claim there isn’t. If you believe in truth, it makes a demand upon you that you live according to that truth. But politicians and many in the church today adhere to a politically correct version of reality that stands in opposition to actual truth. One day they will come to realize — as all of us will — that truth is reality and it always wins out.

We continue our thread this week highlighting Christian persecution and welcome to the program Nasir Bhatti (www.pakistanchristiancongress.org), President of the Pakistan Christian Congress. He examines the delays that Christians encounter in receiving refugee status from the United Nations and touches on the immigration problems facing Europe.

“The nine most terrifying words in the English language,” former President Ronald Reagan once said, “are, ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help.’ “One might urge the government to look up the word ‘help’ in the dictionary. The EPA, an element of said government, has launched a campaign to control every drop of water in the United States, even at the expense of property rights and it’s causing a retain in many states.

Seton Motley (www.lessgovernment.org), President of Less Government and hydrologist Dr. Jay Lehr (www.heartland.org), Science Director at the Heartland Institute, discuss the agency’s overreach and regulations and propose a plan to phase out federal control in favor of state responsibility. Can it be implemented or will it slowly drown in a sea of bureaucracy?

John finishes up with a behind the scenes look at Roman Catholicism, papal infallibility, and the weight of authority behind papal teaching and how that is affecting geopolitics.

As always, join us online for our Section 6 intelligence briefing featuring analysis by John on important stories highlighting emerging geopolitical trends around the world. This week, John takes a look at capitalism and the refugee crisis in Europe.
