We are skipping over the boralogue this week and jumping in with John Zmirak (www.stream.org), Senior Editor at The Stream, who examines the geopolitics of Syria and the Middle East as it pertains to the Kurds and the Turks, the battle between Iran and Israel, and how Christians are faring in the region.

The great race is on between the Federal Reserve and the Trump administration in the plan to hike interest rates. Stephen Moore (www.freedomworks.org), Senior Economic Contributor for Freedom Works and advisor to President Trump joins us to discuss the state of the economy, how to get spending under control, and the need to continue pro-growth policies.

The Catholic Church has entered into an agreement with the Chinese government that could be detrimental to Christians in China. Gina Goh (www.persecution.org), Southeast Asia Regional Manager for International Christian Concern, gives her observations on how the agreement is affecting local churches and how persecution there is strengthening Christians’ resolve.

Agenda 21 from the UN has now morphed into a new plan: Agenda 2030. Author and teacher Jeffrey Ludwig (www.americanthinker.com) points out that catch phrases in the new plan – positive rights, sustainable development, needs of the world – don’t actually achieve anything. The plan doesn’t specifically call for a one-world government, but it is a strong move forward in setting one up.

John’ s quote of the week:
We are in not a political clash but a philosophical clash. It’s a clash between the old Judeo-Christian western civilization model versus the regurgitation of the Neo-Marxist ideas of class struggle and warfare. They are both vying for control of the governments of the West.

This week we are changing up our Section 6 portion of the program – John will explain what our future plans are with that. We play snippets from a classic episode of Steel of Steel from November 2006 titled ‘Dancing with the Dialectic’.

What do freedom of religion rights look like after the Supreme Court’s decision in the Colorado cake baking case? In this week’s boralogue, John looks at the positives and negatives of the case’s outcome and asks the question: should you be compelled to provide a service or do something in the course of your business that goes against your conscience? If your philosophy is based on positive rights and relative, flexible values, the answer is yes.

Is there a blue wave coming this November? We welcome back author and expert on political forecasting Dr. Gerard Lameiro (www.greatnewsforamerica.com) who analyzes the political leanings of America’s electorate and discovers that, despite inaccurate polling, we may just see a different-colored wave this November.

The Supreme Court’s decision in the Colorado cake baking case was a win for Jack Phillips. But does it mean future cases will see a similar outcome? Jenna Ellis (www.dobsonfamilyinstitute.com), Director of Public Policy for the James Dobson Family Institute examines the truth behind the decision and advocates for close adherence to what the Constitution actually says.

The European Union has seen a rise in populism through several recent elections, including in Italy. Political strategist Pat Caddell discusses the future of the EU amid deep discontent from its citizens and looks at slanted news coverage and biased social media sites that are trying to stifle debate.

John’s quote of the week:
With the belief that the Constitution is a living breathing document, that one set of rights clobbers another set of rights, we never know from moment to moment where we stand in the law. And that’s the problem with all fungible, all living breathing, all relativist rights – they chafe at any idea that they should be shackled down by the chains of the Constitution.

In this week’s Section 6, John looks at the one-worlders and how they operate. John and Producer Steve discuss secret behind-the-scenes maneuvering by the Obama administration during the Iran Deal, hypocrisy in media, and the Tommy Robinson case in Britain.

Uphold Our Freedom

Happy Independence Day everyone! As we celebrate our nation’s 240th birthday this weekend, we look back proudly on our founding documents, including the Constitution, which is today under attack. In this week’s boralogue, John looks at negative rights, which allow freedom and prosperity, and positive rights, which are vague and can limit our freedoms. We need to uphold our rights and fight for them or our free country founded in 1776 may be a thing of the past.

Our military has evolved from those early days of militia and minutemen to one of immense power across the globe. Former Navy SEAL Carl Higbie (www.carlhigbie.com) tells his heroic story of apprehending an international terrorist as well as prevailing over the bureaucracy and political correctness at the highest levels of our armed forces. In order for the dysfunction to stop, we need to be able to have an honest discussion about our problems and our enemies.

The world economy is headed for a free fall. John plays a clip of Jim Puplava from the Financial Sense Newshour (www.financialsense.com) regarding low interest rates and its effect on global finances.

Do we need a convention of states as mentioned in Article V of the Constitution? Joining us for a roundtable discussion are Kyle Maichle (www.heartland.org), Manager for Constitutional Reform at the Heartland Institute, who believes a convention will be successful in steering this country in the right direction; and Richard Fry (www.defendnotamend.com), general counsel for the Patriot Coalition, who believes we must vote in the right personnel to uphold the Constitution we already have.

John’s quote of the week:

“In free societies, the laws are limited and very clear. In dictatorships, the laws are many and vague, so anyone can be guilty when they have to be.”

We are taking time off to celebrate our nation’s birthday this weekend, so there will be no intelligence brief. However, Section 6 will return next week.
