In literature, narratives are often fiction. In both the mainstream media and politics, narratives exhibit the same fictitious nature. In this week’s boralogue, John gives several examples of how the media and politicos have failed to tell the truth lately, including with the gun rights rally in Virginia, with anthropogenic global warming, and with Attorney General William Barr. It turns out you can make this stuff up – and it shows us their true intentions.

Manda ErvinIran is a hot topic in the news but one aspect not covered by the media is how women have been treated there. Manda Zand Ervin (www.allianceofiranianwomen.org), Founder and President of the Alliance of Iranian Women, joins us to recount how Iranian women, who were being oppressed by the mullahs, established a secret underground network in order to survive. Much of this information can be found in her new book, The Ladies’ Secret Society of Iran.

It’s time for a Middle East geopolitical update so we welcome an expert on the subject, Seth Frantzman (www.sethfrantzman.com), Middle East Affairs Analyst at the Jerusalem Post. He examines a deal between Turkey and Russia to partition Libya, an oil pipeline from the region to Eastern Europe, and the interactions between Turkey, Syria, and the Kurds.

John and Producer Steve spend a few moments dissecting an opinion piece from the Harvard Law Review that advocates for end-running the Constitution in an attempt to add amendments that would not only give permanent legislative power to liberals but would also ultimately endanger the Republic itself.

John finishes out the show this week with a news story roundup, relating stories from around the world. Included are the impending Brexit, a disastrous new economic plan in Spain, trouble in China regarding the Catholic Church, and several examples of Christian persecution.

John’s quote of the week:
If the people cannot operate on the basis of their conscience and their convicted values and beliefs, what will act as a judge upon the government when the government itself goes corrupt? And governments, believe me, will go corrupt.

On this week’s extra segment, it’s a quadruple feature as we play four interviews from 2014, 2015, and 2016 with Iraqi Christian Relief Council President Juliana Taimoorazy. She recounts the problems and tragedies involving Christians in Iraq from ISIS’s persecution to their troubles with the UN regarding refugee status. With Iraq in the news lately, it’s important to remember those who are suffering for their faith there (and around the world).

What happens when you mesh motives and methodology together? In this week’s boralogue, John looks at how inseparable both the desire to stop more shootings and the need for more gun control laws have become. During the national walkout, some students were punished and others ostracized if they refused to participate in what amounted to a gun control rally. Advocates of gun control are ironically holding up the first amendment in order to tear down the second.

Where can we find the real collusion story? Mary Fanning (www.theamericanreport.org), Investigator for the American Report and the Center for Security Policy, reports on the details of a plan to store a secret cache of weapons at a port in Florida that involves Pakistan, Russia, and the Obama administration. The media’s spotlight is definitely pointed elsewhere on this story.

The media spotlight has also turned away from non-leftist issues happening in South Africa. Dr. Johan Burger (www.issafrica.org), Senior Research Consultant with the Institute for Security Studies in Pretoria, examines the rise in crime in South Africa, especially against white farmers who are being targeted for supposed links to apartheid.

Free speech on campuses is becoming more endangered every week. Steve Amundson (www.counterjihadcoalition.org), Founder of the Counter Jihad Coalition, describes how he was kicked out of a seminar about Islam because the moderators did not like certain questions being asked. Free speech protections and hate speech regulations are coming to a head in the near future. Let’s hope freedom wins.

John’s quote of the week:
When two ideas are fused together, it becomes very difficult socially to agree with one and disagree with the other without incurring social stigmatization, because in the public mind – as they’re presented by the propagandists – they are seen as one and the same.

In this week’s Section 6, we play for you an interview John gave on the podcast Stand Up For the Truth with Mike LeMay on March 13. Topics discussed include Donald Trump’s strategies, Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals,” attacks on freedom of speech, Europe’s cultural decline, and the Left’s outright bitterness toward President Trump.

Media hypocrisy is as high as Congress’s approval ratings are low. In this week’s boralogue, John looks at two very different ways the media has covered the Russian story: unsubstantiated collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign, coverage has been nonstop. But with new reporting of evidence-backed collusion between Hillary Clinton and Russia, there has thus far been nothing but crickets. Plus John gives an update on the status of Pastor X and other Pakistani Christians in Thailand. Please pray.

The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) has chosen to redefine ‘hate group’ as an organization whose politics are different from theirs. John Guandolo (www.understandingthethreat.com), President of Understanding the Threat, shows that while the SPLC caters to groups like CAIR and Hamas, they target conservative organizations as purveyors of hate.

Those who choose to question and debate climate change data are coming under fire as well. Lorrie Goldstein (www.torontosun.com), Comment Editor at the Toronto Sun, discusses the Canadian government’s efforts to shut down so-called climate deniers and the globalist effort to levee useless carbon taxes instead of focusing on lowering emissions.

From lofty ideals to chaos and totalitarianism – has liberalism gone off the rails? We welcome back author and historian Daniel Mallock (www.danielmallock.com) to examine the decline of rational thought and debate and the Left’s attempts to discount both our Founding Fathers and the documents they created.

John’s quote of the week:
The difference between failure to keep a standard and hypocrisy is that hypocrisy is not just failing to live up to a standard, but routinely as a matter of practice preaching one thing and then practicing the opposite.

Coming up in our weekly Section 6 Intelligence Brief, we discuss more about Pastor X and the situation facing persecuted Pakistani Christians. We’ll also dig into the Uranium One scandal and cover-up and then take a look into Globalist Pantheistic Socialism. Lastly, John discusses the fact that many eastern European countries are seeing a push back on both Socialism and Islam. We’ll also look at how these last two fit into biblical prophecy. Join us for another packed-out segment!

Middle East peace talks begin this weekend in Paris while neither Israel nor any Palestinian group has been invited. In this week’s boralogue, John looks at the history of the term Palestinian, who actually occupied the West Bank and Gaza before 1967, and the most likely outcome of the talks: a plan for a two-state solution. How will this affect the area’s future?

A bill was recently signed into law that would establish a government office to disseminate U.S. foreign policy and to combat fake news. In other words, we may soon have an official Ministry of Truth. We welcome back Alex Newman (www.thenewamerican.com), Correspondent for The New American, who points out that certain journalists could be labeled as illegitimate just for disagreeing with the government.

As we air our final show of the Obama administration era, we are taking a look at the president’s legacy. Fox News Strategic Analyst Lt. Col. Ralph Peters (www.foxnews.com) examines the weakened status and poor morale in our military and what Trump can do to improve it. He also analyzes foreign policy issues concerning Russia, China, and Iran.

President Obama has touted his legacy as positive in nearly every respect, however the truth lies far below that. Jeffery Tucker (www.fee.org), Director of Content for the Foundation for Economic Education discusses the president’s poor handling of the economy, including implementing both Obamacare and oppressive business regulations.

Leftists have been operating from the Alinsky playbook for decades, but now President-elect Trump is using those same methods against them. Dr. Tome Borelli (www.conservativereview.com), Contributor at Conservative Review contrasts how Trump is using companies to lobby for tax reform versus how Obama used drug companies to lobby for Obamacare and bigger government.

John’s quote of the week:
“I’m sure people would like to see peace in the Middle East but you have to ask on what terms and at what cost. Given the current biases present in the United Nations against Israel, those are very sobering questions.”

As always, join us online for our Section 6 intelligence briefing featuring analysis by John on important stories highlighting emerging geopolitical trends around the world.
