As countries or covenants or agreements get older and older there is a tendency to drift away from the original principles. In this week’s boralogue, John notes that sometimes we may forget where we come from so when things drift markedly from where they should be in this country, we should get back to the beginning. The freedoms in the Constitution, which made this country unique and successful, are a good place to start.

We welcome to the show an old friend of John’s, Burt Yellin (www.roehisrael.org), Rabbi at Roeh Israel, a Messianic church in Denver, Colorado. The two discuss the state of the country today, the difference between Jews in Israel and Jews in America, and how Burt answered the call of ministry after years of searching.

Trusting in God can lead to second guessing and interesting prayers, but eventually He calls and it’s up to us to trust Him enough to answer. Physician and missionary Dr. Paul Williams (www.whenallplansfail.com) joins us to review his new book on how your decisions can affect your path in life and shares how God’s calling in his life led to relief for many around the world.

We all know that Facebook, Google, and Twitter have been caught censoring conservatives who espouse views they don’t agree with, but how did we get to this point? Investigative journalist and economist James Simpson (www.crisisnow.net) examines the Marxist infiltration of education and advocates for reform of regulations if things are going to change in the future.

John’s quote of the week:
Countries have fights, disputes, and conflicts, but we all get into this crisis moment in which people forget how our country was started. For us, that was freedom. And that is what we should be fighting for.

In this week’s Section 6, we play an interview John gave last week on Stand Up For The Truth on Q90FM in Wisconsin with Mike LeMay. John discusses the liberal mindset, the word ‘nationalist’ in our political discourse, the dividing nature of the Alinsky method, the latest with the Catholic Church, and the differences between positive and negative rights.

Liberal World Disorder

Is the push for a liberal world order a conspiracy or an out-in-the-open slow-rolling agenda? In this week’s boralogue, John looks the push for globalism in the past century and how Brexit, the election of Donald Trump, and Brett Kavanaugh’s strict adherence to the Constitution all pose threats to the liberal world order. When they are threatened, globalist lash out viciously which we are seeing now.

President Trump spoke at the United Nations this week in favor of sovereignty and against globalism. Alex Newman (www.thenewamerican.com), Foreign Correspondent for The New American joins us to discuss the ways that globalist ideologies are succeeded right under our noses and if we want to push back, we must always be vigilant.

One threat to the far Left are those who have had enough and decide to walk off the progressive plantation. Brandon Straka (www.walkawaycampaign.com), Founder of the Walkaway Movement, describes how and why he started his campaign, how those famous for preaching tolerance are anything but, and how we can bridge the gap in this extremely divided political atmosphere.

John and Producer Steve finish off the show this week analyzing the bigger implications behind the Kavanaugh outrage, including the dangerous precedent of guilty until proven innocent and the dangerous tactics used by those who oppose Judge Kavanaugh that could undermine serious accusations of sexual misconduct in the non-political world.

John’s quote of the week:
“When this new world order made its last dash to the finish line it was going to have to be seen totally naked for what it truly was. Everybody in the stands would say, ‘Holy cow! Look at that!’ and they’d have to run down and tackle it before it got to the finish line. That’s the question: will the spectators come awake and recognize what’s going on and then stop it?”

In this week’s Section 6, we play John’s interview on Stand Up For The Truth on Q90FM in Wisconsin that was recorded this Thursday. John covers the Kavanaugh hearings, the Marxist ideology behind the Left, what’s happening with the church in China, and the possible infiltration of the Christian Church by the politically correct crowd.

All I Want for Christmas is the Truth

In this world of fake news and broken political promises, where can we find the truth? In this week’s Christmas boralogue, John looks at the source of truth – the Way, the Truth, and the Life himself – Jesus Christ. In the search for truth, you have to ask if Jesus was who he said he was and if he died and rose again. The answer is yes on both counts. Will you base your life on the solid rock of Truth or on shifting sand? This Christmas and always, we truly hope it is on Truth.

Selection of which story gets to be posted online has turned into censorship. Joe Lauria (www.consortiumnews.com), veteran foreign affairs correspondent based at the United Nations, recounts his experience after one of his online articles critical of the Left was taken down with no explanation given. Media censorship is growing and the rise of independent media is important to push back against it.

Who are the biggest violators of free speech on the internet? Sarah Chaffee (www.discovery.org), Education & Public Policy Program Officer at the Discovery Institute, discusses how Facebook, Twitter, and especially Wikipedia are violating freedoms by allowing only some information to be posted online.

Finally, we get away from the hectic nature of the news by speaking with successful television sports director Dave Burchett (www.wakingupslowly.com), who examines the need to reconnect with and focus on God when life distracts you. Pray that you would take the time to hear God through all the noise and obey him in all things.

John’s quote of the week:
What has been truly interesting over the last 20 years as Christmas drifts further and further in the public arena away from the idea of Christ’s birthday, has been the effort to promote eternal truths by using non-truths or blurry truths to do it – a result of the post-modern way of looking at things.

In a special holiday edition of Section 6, we air John’s recent appearance on ‘Stand Up For The Truth’ from 12/12/17 dealing with liberal group-think and how to talk to liberals.

Making Sense of the Nonsense

On what do we base our foundation of morality? In this week’s boralogue, John looks at the gradual removal of God from society and the ages-long attempts to replace Him with logic, reason, and other false gods – to no avail. Claiming someone or something is bad without a moral grounding in God is just that, a claim.
Plus, we look at President Trump’s Jerusalem declaration in our Clip of the Week.

With sexual accusations raining down on Hollywood and Washington DC, how do we make sense of it all? Catalina Avalos (www.trippscott.com), Criminal Defense Attorney & Director at Tripp Scott Law, examines the legal implications for accusers and the accused and shows the keys to preventing this kind of trouble in the future.

Hypothetically, what if the accusations against Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore were part of a larger plot? Tom Ertl (www.ertlhomes.com), Former National Media Director for Christians for Donald Trump in last year’s campaign, discusses the deeper battle between the swamp establishment and grass roots conservatives and how ideas are far more important than ideologies.

After last November’s election, media pundits began questioning how regular people could vote for Donald Trump. The problem is, they discussed it amongst themselves and ignored regular people. Ken Stern (www.palisadesmv.com), Former CEO of National Public Radio, describes his year-long journey outside of the bubble to learn from those of us in flyover land and to determine if America is as divided as it seems.

John’s quote of the week:
Early in the 20th century, we allowed the State to become involved in the marriage business, removing some of the authority from where it traditionally lay in churches and synagogues. Later on we just pitched God out of the picture all together. At that point, marriage became whatever the State said it was.

In this week’s extended Section 6 intelligence brief, John delves into the complex 3D chessboard of the Middle East. Then, we play various media clips after Trump’s Jerusalem capital declaration. Finally, we’ll air John’s most recent appearance on ‘Stand Up For The Truth’ from 11/29/17. Stay tuned!
