There are a lot of issues circulating in the world right now and very few of them are accurately reported on. In this week’s boralogue, John jumps from issue to issue, covering the possible halting of the Fed’s rate raising cycle, how support for Mahmoud Abbas is down and support for Israel is up, and the agreement between the Vatican and communist China that seems a little too familiar. Worldviews can somehow be both popular and dysfunctional at the same time.

From the Declaration of Independence to the Constitution, this country was founded on unity, but today it seems to be all about division. We welcome back author and historian Daniel Mallock (www.newenglishreview.org) to discuss the Alinsky tactics of division and constant friction that lead to chaos and loss of freedom. It’s up to us to identify these threats and push back on them.

Europe has also come a long way ideologically, though they are further down the road to division. Writer and retired oncologist David Stolinsky (www.stolinsky.com) analyzes the differences in Europe, both past and present and shows how leftist ideologies are gaining a foothold in America in his home state of California.

The term ‘navigable’ has changed dramatically over the past 10 years. Anthony Francois (www.pacificlegal.org), Senior Attorney with Pacific Legal Foundation, examines how the EPA has deemed tiny draining ditches on private property as navigable and how the Clean Water Act has gone from fighting pollution to becoming a land grab for the government.

John’s quote of the week:
Governments always act in their own best interest, not necessarily in the interests of the people. Because of that, they are most likely to define out of existence those things that would criticize the government itself. Lo and behold, this is exactly what we find happening in Europe.”

In this week’s Section 6, John looks at Russia’s recent skirmish with Ukrainian ships off the Black Sea, failing worldviews in Europe, a mysterious wave-like rumble around the world, as well as other science and legal news stories.

The Kavanaugh confirmation circus is finally over. What can we learn from all of this? In this week’s boralogue, John looks at the true nature of this battle: the death of judicial activism. SCOTUS may now return to correctly interpreting the Constitution. But there is a devious pattern to defeat candidates and, if they are not defeated, there is a pattern to delegitimize them and the Court. The battle may have been won, but the war is still ongoing.

John then plays a clip of Senator Ben Sasse (R-Nebraska) from the pre-allegation portion of the Kavanaugh confirmation hearing where he talks about the three legs of government and why the Supreme Court should not take on the role of Congress or be the center of politics.

John and Producer Steve sit down for a thorough postmortem on the Kavanaugh confirmation process, discussing the reasons behind the Democrats’ tactics, why presumption of innocent should be paramount, and how we bridge the gap between two sides with two very different ideologies.

No one seems to be talking about our economic future, so we have taken it upon ourselves to do just that. John examines the Trump euphoria and plays clips from Ron Paul and Dave McAlvany, who both suggest that we should learn the lessons of 2008 and watch very carefully the condition of our current economic bubble.

What is it like to walk off the Democrat plantation and promote conservatism? We welcome to the program the always entertaining real life sisters and internet sensations Diamond & Silk (www.diamondandsilkinc.com) who advocate for getting out the vote, watching their new movie, Dummycrats, and fighting hypocrisy in politics and the media.

John’s quote of the week:
Are we going to be a free society with the rights guaranteed under the Constitution of speech and religion and press and property – all of which have been under siege by judicial activism for the last 50 years – or will we go careening forward into some kind of oligarchic, progressive, socialistic dictatorship that we know from countries around the world always fails with economic and social collapse?

In this week’s Section 6, John looks at the recent market dip, anti-Semitism in Europe, the backfire of liberal tactics against Kavanaugh, and a very liberal news article, which he deconstructs. We then play an interview John gave with a local (northern Idaho) radio station, KYMS, where he and the host discussed the Pope, church history, and the latest with Christian persecution around the world.

What’s the difference between a hypocrite and one who fails to live up to his or her own standards? In this week’s boralogue, John looks at the cover-up in the Catholic Church and how scandal and major changes seem to happen in the Church every 500 years. There’s a failure to take ownership of the sin and though an issue may be fixed, the cause of that issue remains.

America hasn’t had slavery for 150 years but it does still exist in other parts of the world. Charles Jacobs (www.peaceandtolerance.org), President of Americans for Peace and Tolerance, shows where slavery thrives today and why human rights organizations in the West are silent about it.

What happens when Mahmoud Abbas rejects whatever solution to the peace process the Trump administration proposes? Ariel Ben Solomon (www.jns.org), Deputy Online Editor at Jewish News Syndicate and a resident of Israel, describes the philosophy of Hamas when it comes to dealing with the West and how Western solutions may not work in the Middle East.

America is awful and racist and was founded on horrible precepts, so says liberal academia and modern leftists. John Zmirak (www.stream.org), Senior Editor at The Stream, shows how this progressive mindset was fractured with the election of Donald Trump, which further explains the outrage that has followed.

John and Producer Steve finish off the show this week discussing the war on free speech in America from suppressing conservative speech online to constantly accusing Right-leaning thinkers and candidates of “racism” when it in fact doesn’t exist.

John’s quote of the week:
“The real core problem we’re having is the inability to dissent in whole or in part from some of the things that are being discussed, and to offer logical and reasonable arguments. What you get back is flack, ad hominem attacks, and clichéd attacks; that’s always the mark of a losing side.”

In this week’s Section 6, we celebrate Labor Day by airing a recent interview John did with Stand Up For the Truth with Mike LeMay on Q90FM in Wisconsin. John discusses the true goals of the progressive movement, the crisis in the Roman Catholic Church, and the future of the evangelical movement.

When your boat is filling up with water, do you gouge a hole in the bottom in order to drain it? In this week’s boralogue, John looks at the aftermath of the Michael Cohen plea and how the institution of attorney-client privilege could be damaged long-term. Certain societal conventions are being sacrificed in order to pile up short-term gains, such as ousting President Trump from office. Plus, John plays a clip from the movie Man For All Seasons that further illustrates his point.

Can multiculturalism work? Author and historian Jeff Lipkes (www.jefflipkes.com) gives several historical examples of cultures that warred against assimilation with other societies and yet are taught in today’s schools to have been civil and virtuous. Can Western society survive when incoming people groups fight against established values and customs?

How does the World Council of Churches fit in with anti-Semitism and the attitudes of certain churches against Israel? We welcome back Dexter Van Zile (www.camera.org), Christian Media Analyst for CAMERA, who discusses the long-term strategy to destroy the will of Jews and others in the West to defend themselves against attacks, both ideological and physical.

To finish out the show, John, Carol, and Producer Steve form a new round-table discussion group called the Steel Company and examine the geopolitics of Iran, the Middle East, and Turkey.

John’s quote of the week:
I have consistently argued for a level playing field and for fairness on both sides regardless of whether it involved liberals or conservatives. But it seems that so many people are contradicting the things that they have preached at us for years just because it seems to favor their momentary cause.

In this week’s Section 6, John, Carol, and Producer Steve continue their discussion of geopolitics, then move on to the Manafort and Cohen decisions this week, and finally take a look at what the globalists are up to.
